Start your tour of Hollywood in morning or afternoon, depending on the option you select, departing from the area's Egyptian Theater. During the course of your walking trip you'll explore some of the neighborhood's historic theaters and most famous landmarks. Among the theaters you'll visit are El Capitan Theater, where Disney premieres many of its own films, plus Grauman's Egyptian Theater, the first theater to host a premiere event. You'll also stop by Dolby Theatre, which hosts the Academy Awards each spring, and Grauman's Chinese Theater, home to Hollywood's famous sidewalk filled with movie star footprints and handprints.

Get your own directions and do not be a minute late for this tour. Address given does not take you to the actual Hard Rock restaurant. Address takes you to a sign for Hard Rock that is around the block, opposite side of the plaza with shops and restaurants. When we finally found the correct location it was 4:01 pm. Tour was gone, no one was working the desk, no one answered the phone and tour could not be found on street. They clearly left early and made no effort to contact us. When tour returned the guide rebooked us for two days later even though we were not available. He said we could email to get a refund. We emailed for refund and were denied. They tried to tell us tour did not leave until 4:06 pm. That is false. Also, this tour was not full. Others were not prevented from going on tour based on our reservation. If they want to claim we were late they should refund our money. Just a pure money grab. We won’t be booking any tours through Viator or with red line in the future.

There are so many companies offering tours in Hollywood that it is hard to select one. We picked this tour because we wanted to get into some Hollywood theaters. As it turned out, the only theater we went into was the Egyptian, which has been so radically "modernized" that it is hardly worth visiting. We did learn many facts and details about the area that we did not know before, and as movie and tv fans, this was interesting and exciting. We highly recommend the first tour of the day as the sidewalks and the Chinese Theater are so packed later in the day it is hard to see anything. Also, this company uses headsets and that is a must for a group walking tour in this area. It would be impossible to hear anything or even to follow the guide without the headsets.

A good walking tour of Hollywood, though I wish we could have seen a bit more of the Chinese theatre. That was really minor though. Totally recommended.

This was a nice tour for a good price. Yes, Hollywood Blvd. is a little seedy, but it is also the home of much cinema history and the home of the Academy Awards. Only with a tour would you really appreciate what the different sites along H-B represent. We thought this tour did a good job of highlighting the good, the bad, and the ugly of the move industry. We suggest parking a block or two away from the Blvd and doing a parking meeting. We paid for lot parking 15 and then realized that there was probably no reason to do that.

This tour was great!! Excellent view of Hollywood Homes. However, they vendor needs to post better signs of site location..It was a hassle to find among the chaotic hollywoodslightly comparable to NYC time square. As a result I was a lost and late. But overall had a geat time

This tour didnt cover much grond, but the guide told some fun facts and about the history of hollywood. It was also nice that you got to go inside the Egyptian Theatre.
