Expensive but worth it, especially when you account for very low to no wait times on rides, includes valet parking, breakfast and lunch, unlimited water, and an exclusive tour not open to the public. When you factor in the summer heat, I am glad we took this tour.

Worth the indulgence

While this is pricey, we found it to be worth the extra money. If this will be your only visit to Universal I would definitely recommend this tour. We had our boys with us, 11, 9 and 6. Our guide, Robert, was so patient with the kids and accommodating to our entire group. (our group was 12 people) The day we went was pretty busy so it was really nice to skip all the lines. (this tour is the only way to skip most of the line for the Mario Kart ride. ) You don't walk to the very front of the lines, but skip at least 95% of it. The longest we waited was 10 minutes for Mario Kart(general line was 110min) The food at lunch was incredible, it was nice to be in a private area for lunch, it was quiet and calm, perfect for relaxing for a bit. The studio tour was fun since you can get out and walk around some of the sets. Our tour ended about 4 and then we had the rest of the day to explore on our own. Your VIP badge allows you to skip the lines for the rest of the day.

The most memorable parts of my experience were going to attractions that I have or have not been on in Universal Orlando Resort, visiting Super Mario World for the first time, seeing the Waterworld show, and most importantly going on the VIP Studio Tour.

NYE disaster

Booked this Experience through Viator to give my family a great New Years Eve experience. We got to the VIP area and they didn’t show our reservation in the system and the only way i could enter was to buy more tickets. Still waiting on a response from Viator on what happened and a full refund. NYE was ruined and I looked pretty stupid to my family.

You can't beat the price..valet parking, at least 8 guided rides with no wait, nice buffet lunch, no hassles. Very knowledgeable guide, and get to know the families on the same tour. Perfect for out of towners to hit all the best rides in a day. The tour is for the whole day till 5pm, then we got to roam around on our own till 10pm. Kids had the best time!

Too much about the rides, not enough about the movie sets

You really should split up your V.I.P. tours into a "Rides" tour and also a "Movie Set" tour. There were 3 of us there that were not the least bit interested in the rides. We just wanted to see the back lot movie sets. Had to walk around for 4 hours watching other peoples kids on rides while waiting to get to the interesting stuff.
