I had requested the removal of this review but the tripadvisor staff is in favor of a false freedom of expression even when incorrect and misleading information is written for successful customers. So I have to clarify that as described, our itinerary from Lucca to Pisa in nature is mostly on a white and dirt road along the Serchio river, very far from cars and houses, in nature. Then you leave the river to reach San Giuliano Terme, a small village, because we want to give you the opportunity to rest and perhaps have something to drink or eat. I have worked in cycle tourism for many years and it is always advisable to include stopping points in tourist itineraries. Then you enter for a few kilometers on country roads and finally along an ancient aqueduct on a white road, away from cars and houses, up to Pisa, no other "neighborhood" along the way. Obviously you enter Pisa, so there are houses along the streets. But maybe our path hasn't even been followed, who knows?
