Beautiful Madeira

What a fabulous trip and our driver John was an absolute gem! He showed us all the beautiful scenery of Madeira and we had such a wonderful day. I would highly recommend this trip

My sisters and I did a tour of the north of the island. We had a very enjoyable day, made all the better by having James as our driver/guide. The off Road sections were great fun. James was very good at stopping to point out areas of interest, and also interesting flora. There was plenty of photo opportunities. He was an excellent driver, and I truly can't believe some of the roads he took us up, some were amazingly steep, and although 2 way were actually only wide enough for 1 car. This was the "true" Maderia, and we loved up. Unfortunately the sea pool/volcanic rock pools were cold, so although we went there we didn't go in. Only thing I can say against the tour was it said the entry to the pools were included, it wasn't, but still, entry was only €3 each, so not too much. We really enjoyed this tour. Another's great selling point to this company is the size of the vehicle. We were in a normal Land rover, which would take a max of 4 passengers. Some of the other tours we saw, while out, had bigger landrovers/jeeps with many more people crammed in them, which didn't look at all comfortable.

Nous avons passé une journée extraordinaire Notre guide et chauffeur Jaime était intarissable sur les merveilles de son île natale (botanique, histoire et anecdotes en tous genres). Sa conduite irréprochable, sa gentillesse son humour et sa générosité nous ont permis de découvrir toute la partie ouest de Madère dans les meilleures conditions. Cette société qui nous a transportés est très honnête car malgré un malentendu elle a fait le nécessaire pour régler le souci et nous a en plus réservé un véhicule pour 2 au lieu de nous tasser dans un véhicule occupé par des touristes allemands qui ne parlent pas la même langue que nous . De plus nous avons pu compter sur notre chauffeur pour réserver une table très bien placée avec une vue magnifique dans cet endroit très prisé et fréquenté par les touristes qu’est Porto Moniz .
