What To Expect

Meet your guide and small group at noon at a central location in Melbourne. You'll get a kit that includes an 'I'm a Chocoholic' badge, a bottle of water, and a map to lead you back to your favorites after the tour.

Follow your culinary guide to 6 of Melbourne's best chocolatiers, where you'll try up to 10 milk chocolate varieties. You'll learn about the chocolate making process, from bean to bar, and get a tasting with a wine pairing.

Finish the day with a delicious dessert degustation afternoon tea before your tour guide leaves you to continue exploring the city yourself or to follow your map back to your favorite chocolatier of the day.

Chocolate bliss in Melbourne

Peggy was a fabulous guide and took us around to multiple shops in Melbourne for some great chocolate sampling, including a bonus stop that was unexpected - along the way we had great conversations with her as a Melbourne native and got to exchange a lot of great tips and thoughts. Won't spoil the surprise of some of the tastings which are both unexpected and delicious. There's some walking involved, but nothing strenuous, and get to explore some of the laneways of Melbourne where all the cool shops are located.

My fiancé and I were looking for something different to do in Melbourne so we booked our spots on a chocoholics walking tour that started in The Block Arcade. We were one of three couples on the tour, all of whom were Aussies who hailed from outside Victoria. Our tour guide Ivan was friendly, gregarious and very knowledgeable about Melbourne’s history, chocolate and desserts scene. We got to sample a generous amount of sweets and chocolates on this tour, and bought plenty of chocolates, hot chocolate mixture and spices for ourselves. We got some great chocolate recommendations and would definitely revisit some of the shops we visited on this tour. It was also really insightful to learn about the history of Melbourne’s most iconic arcades, laneways and buildings. I’d highly recommend this tour for groups of friends and couples who love their chocolate.

Tonya was the most wonderful guide. Not only was she very knowledgeable, but also witty, compassionate, considerate and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the decant chocolates and other delicious delicacies but also the strolls through the arcades, the laneways, the stories and the twisting and turning of the hustle bustle of Melbourne on a Saturday….obviously a new by to Melbourne 👏👏👏

Told in add that we would get a bottle of water and plenty of chocolates to try. That didn’t happen. I would not recommend it to anyone. A waste of money.
