times may vary due to the fact the drive is over 500 kms or especially During peak holiday seasons this includes times it may take to get to the great Ocean road, each place we visit and how long we are there at each location just talk to the guide of the day as their may be unforeseen issues on the great ocean road that day.
Wild kangaroo and koalas: during the tour we will go visit the places that are on the itinerary that have koalas/kangaroos but please understand we can't 100 percent guarantee you will see them every time as these animals are wild and like to be left alone, and kangaroos can travel up to speeds of 60 kms per hour.
As the tour is about 500kms we advice clients not to make plans after the tour like book a flight or go our for dinner as the day varies. We take no responsibility if you miss your flight or plans after as times vary from day to day. As per the journey is about 500 kms
if you have any medical issues and your not sure please ask us as each person conditions are different.

We really enjoyed the tour and it exceeded all of our expectations of a bus trip along thr Ocean Road. Our driver/ tour guide Neil was very knowledgeable about his homeland and knew just where we might see all of the wild animals that you would ever hope to see in the south of Australia. Despite the rain at the beginning of our trip we were able to see kangaroos on a golf course. We also saw seals, a Koala and lots of wild birds such as parrots and kukaburras, basically everything you learn about but never see in the wild if you live in the northern hemisphere (except for in the zoo maybe). Neil even brought binoculars with him to allow the guests to get a better look at the animals... and was happy to stop at the road side when he spotted a kangaroo or a Koala. The tour was easy going Despite being a long day's drive and we didn't stop once at anywhere that the guide might have been offered commission to drop us at for a break. We stopped for breakfast at a normal roadside cafe with clean toilets and at a seaside town with lots of options for lunch. There was no pressure at all to visit anywhere or buy products (which I've had on plenty of other tours). If I was to recommend anything to do whilst you're visiting Melbourne I would recommend that you go out on the Great Ocean Road tour. It was brilliant. I couldn't recommend it more highly. My highlight of the day was the kangaroo hopping across the road in front of us on the way home.. but even if that hadn't happened I was happy to visit the apostles, Loch ard and all of the little towns and stop off points in between.

Neil the bus driver was a great tour leader sharing heaps of stories about Melbourne. He also managed to show us koala and seal. The other contact person though was not quite responsive and not replying to all the text via the website. They changed the date but our ticket was not updated. I had to follow up by calling them.

It was a long day, made longer by the bus breaking down in Lorne. Could have been worse places to be stuck in a couple of hours waiting on a replacement bus. Think a tour in the opposite direction may be crowded but would have been a better idea. Sun in wrong position for photos at the 12 Apostles and kiosk was allready closed when we got there. Also had limited time at last stop.

The return trip was a nightmare, the air conditioning wasn’t working, 4 hour sauna! They took us to a chocolate factory and the chocolates fully melted …waste of money

Hi for wednesday tour we had to hire a bus so the bus wasnt ours at the begginning of the day the bus a/c was working but it didnt work at the end of the day. We did launch a full investigation to find out what happen and I learnt the condenser of the airconditioner wasnt clean and I have now been told it is clean. I am sorry that something that was either beyond our company control.

It was a nice trip, however the expectations were greater than the trip. Our driver was nice and funny, but he drove with one hand while talking into the microphone with the other. We expected a guide and i believe the description was given as guided tour, there was very little history of the given on this trip. The choice of restaurants not great and Macdonald's was very unnecessary.

Hi thanks for review. As the owner we have look ar some changes. Firstly the bus we used for the tour this day is not ours its a hire bus I have rang the owner of the buses to make sure buses have hands free microphones. Also thanks for booking our budget tour. Our mission is to create jobs so we understand their will be some issues after being shut down for 3 years as per the covid19. We will continue to learn and grow. Also to let you know we are supporting our driver for stopping at macdonalds the reason was for a few reasons. 1. Safety break/ fatigue break are recommended by Victorian government and is for all safety. 2. Get a coffee 3. Allow clients to go to used a clean toilet. Which is a human right We would suggest you try one of our private tours which is about 600 aud for 1 pax or if you have group of 4 people 150 aud each.

It's a long day but the views are so worth it

This is a whole day excursion so be prepared for a long drive and ideally do not make plans for that night . Plenty of stops for toilet breaks and food . The driver - Michael - was very friendly and knowledgeable . The views were amazing and so glad I booked this tour .

Terrible tour schedule

I would not recommend this tour if you have kids and don’t mind sitting in the bus for 14 hours and only stopping at vista points for less than 30 mins which includes restroom breaks. The driver Michael was rude and unpleasant to us. He almost seemed bias towards certain guests and it was very apparent. He definitely needs to go to interpersonal skills training. As for the tour, he literally drove into the golf course while saying that you can spot kangaroos here and drove off without stopping. He did the same with koala spotting as well while we saw other tour buses stopping to take photos of koalas. There were a couple of restroom breaks that were a bit too frequent that could have been avoided to save time. When we reached the Apostles point, we were allotted only 40 mins including a bathroom break. Mike told us to skip the Gibson beach look out point because of time constraints. That to me was very disappointing because we drove 12 hours to see these locations. The view at the apostles was spectacular but the tour driver and the sequence of the tour was terrible.

Hi thanks for the review. Firstly sorry you feel you didnt have a good experience. secondly lets talk about some issues you have mention: 1. Rest rooms, Yes it would be nice that the clients go to the rest rooms at the stops that we visit on the tour, as this would be time saver but its sometimes not possible. 2. Gibsons steps : Its not part of our itinerary we dont go there if you went there then others would miss out on seeling the other locations they paid. we now have a 2 day tour we go to gibsons steps on that tour. 3. Kangaroos this is wildlife please go close to them , but keep an respectful distance we dont want you to be hurt as wildlife will do anything to defend itself 4. According to the witnesses who are 3 respected medical professionals who help people who are sick in hospitals as we talk to other clients on board our tours tell us they had a great day the driver did a good job.

Long day on the road

While the tour guide / driver was nice, this was unfortunately a really long day of just driving and being on the road. First few stops were uneventful (no kangaroos or kappas) and when we finally got to the 12 apostles after 4 hours on the road, we had limited time. Not a very worthwhile trip in my opinion. Also the description is not accurate about beating crowds to see the 12 apostles first.
