    Superb museum and guide!

    Anna was a superb guide. A lifelong Napolitan, she was highly knowledgeable about the many treasures in the museum. We were shocked to discover so many fabulous pieces beyond the mosiacs--sculpture, ceramics, ancient pottery, jewelry, etc. It is an incredible place. Their new cafe was fine, too, for a quick bite. (If you are on a cruise, it is TOO FAR to walk to meet at the museum. We walked back, which is fine/downhill. ) Anna and Viator, once again, did a great job significantly enhancing our visit.

    Our tour guide Anna had such an elegant way of blending historical knowledge to the artifacts we viewed, that it brought Pompeii and Herculaneum to life.
