The palace and gardens
Breathtaking
Gardens well maintained, beautiful walk very regal.
The cascading water fountain is beautiful, photos don’t do it justice.
A train or bus ride to Caserta, easy to get too.
Make it a whole day event.
Just the overall opulence of the palace is and was amazing to see how that era lived. We only got to go in one section of the palace..and that was enough..the gardens in back are killer..not sure what was going on for the front tho
Very competent and well educated guide. She was very pleasant and extremely competent in all areas. We had a great te and learned a lot on the history of the Reggia. Great guide and well spent money.
Reggia Caserta is an amazing place. The audio guide was clearly spoken and informative. The entrance stairs are amazing as are the rooms inside that we could visit. The Presepio (nativity) was wonderful.
The gardens are immense but not very colourful. We only had 3 hours 15 minutes which was not long enough. I suggest Viator allow later departures do that allow more time in the garden.
We had the BEST tour guide, Maria Tarantino! She gave such detailed information and answered all our questions. This Palace is a hidden treasure, absolutely breathtaking! Definitely would recommend this tour!
We had a great time visiting Reggia in Caserta. The guide was punctual, polite and well-informed. Most of all, the wine tasting in the Russo family winery, at the foot of Vesuvio, was a nice and unexpected surprise. I would strongly recommend this tour!
Our guide was by far the most knowledgeable and charming guide we have had on our entire vacation. She explained everything so well and shared in our enthusiasm and excitement as we toured the palace. We will definitely recommend this tour and hopefully with her (her name is escaping me as I write this ).
