Great time for a bachelorette group!
    Gabrielle_S, Apr 2024
We came for a bachelorette to get some ideas before we went out on town and had a great time! A few of us had minimal dance experience and a few had a lot and we all had a blast and learned things.
    Awesome Line Dance Instruction!!!!

    Horrible
    Jenna_T, Nov 2023
Never attended due to cancellation. Not by choice. The guy said that we needed to go to his house for the lesson.
    Response from Host, Nov 2023
Thanks for the review Jenna. There seems to have been a misunderstanding and for that we are sorry. This is our first non-five-star review on Google or Viator in all the years we've been teaching so we take this seriously. We will post our final text communication at the bottom of this response so others can see that everything seemed to be confirmed by both parties to use the regular studio, even after we offered you the upgrade option of the home studio. To shed some light on the situation for anyone reading, you and your guest were the only two scheduled for the lesson. Unlike the other companies, we do not cancel lessons even when we are losing money due to small class size. People make plans around our amazing, entertaining lessons and we feel a deep responsibility to them. On our website, we offer two-person private lessons for two-and-a-half times the cost of a public lesson, so someone getting a two-person lesson at the public price is getting a smoking deal. On top of what was essentially a private lesson, we offered to teach you at our smaller studio where we hold our small-group and couples dance retreats. We offer that to smaller groups because many feel more comfortable there. The large dance studio can feel overwhelming and intimidating for individuals and smaller groups so we offer it as a courtesy. Just like many of the recording studios, accounting firms and other small businesses in Nashville, it's located in a home so it has a comfortable, country feel. It's also 4 minutes closer to Broadway so it's a win-win for most people. Again, this is not offered to everyone, only our partner country swing lessons and small line dance groups. We offered it as a bonus and you declined so we kept the lesson at Millennium Dance Complex like usual. You confirmed you would be there, yet you never showed, nor did you call to let us know, nor respond to our calls and texts asking about your ETA. We waited until 37 minutes after the start of the one-hour lesson, messaged you to let you know we were leaving, then packed everything back up and left the studio. We went out of our way to offer you a better experience than you purchased. You didn't want the better experience, confirmed you wanted the typical studio, didn't show, didn't respond to our communication then left a less-than-favorable review, our first ever. We are saddened that you did not attend the lesson. We go out of our way to make our lessons the highlight of everyone's visit to Nashville, and offered more options to you than the general public receives, yet we failed you. We are sorry and hope you will give us another chance. Text Communication between Instructor and Customer - Turn Their Heads - "I'll come teach you like normal if you don't want the private studio. See you tomorrow at 1pm at Millennium Dance Complex 2844 Logan St Nashville TN 37211. You are welcome to bring adult beverages. See you tomorrow! 🕺 🎉 🤠" Customer - "Ok thank you"
    Fun family experience

We had a large family group ranging in age from 8 to 87. Many had never danced a step in their lives. We had a wonderful experience and made treasured memories.

    Line dancing fun
    MICHAEL_M, Sep 2023
We had a brilliant beginners lesson with our instructor Rick. Although I had a little prior experience, my husband was a complete novice and out of his comfort zone. Rick was able to put him at ease and with his expert tuition we were able to learn two dances , with lots of fun and laughter along the way. Rick looked great in his Stetson and is a very talented instructor. The studio was awesome, water was provided and we were able to set up our own phone to video the dancing on tripods provided. Ask Rick to give you a demo of his dancing at the end of the lesson -we did and he’s superb!
    So much FUN!
    Chelsea_M, Aug 2023
We did the Turn Their Heads line dance class while on vacation and it DID NOT disappoint! We had a blast meeting another couple and with Coach Rick! He had a great sense of humor and was able to figure out how to teach 4 different people, all with different experience levels, the dances! It was so fun and we will be practicing away!
    Fun Dancing
    Bridget_C, Aug 2023
Class was really fun. The steps were easy to learn and the instructor was hilarious and he kept it interesting
    Response from Host, Aug 2023
We are so glad you enjoyed your lesson. Our dance coaches try to crack jokes and keep things light so people relax and have fun. It's easier to learn that way. Thanks again!
    Must do!

Wasn't sure what to expect specially going in with a teenage daughter! but to my surprise it was a very fun class, learned a lot and enjoyed my time with my daughter
    Response from Host, Aug 2023
Line dancing is such a great activity for parents and kids because everyone is on the same level. You learn a lot about yourself and each other which is rare. It's great for bonding. We are so glad you had fun. Keep dancing with your daughter!
    Fun!
    Erinmargaret_L, Aug 2023
So much fun! I was almost alone for my lesson but a nice family joined us. Our instructor was Knowledgeable, kind and understanding. Very helpful when I advised I would be teaching my students these dances and helped me get what I needed on video.
    Response from Host, Aug 2023
We were so excited that you were going to teach your dances to your students. We travel the US and Europe teaching line dancing and country swing so let us know if you need any help! All the best!

was a great class, we ended up with a one on one class and my daughter asked right away if we can go back
    Response from Host, May 2023
Thanks for taking time to review Alicea. You and your daughter were a pleasure to teach. I'd love to have you back anytime.
    Wonderful experience!!
    lvnnla, May 2023
We had such fun learning from Rick. Not only is he knowledgeable about line dancing but since he has training as a coach he can “teach” so we learned both dances easily without anxiety. Parking was convenient and without charge. Wish we were here longer to do more classes with him.
    Response from Host, May 2023
You are so sweet! I'm glad you enjoyed my class and felt that learning was relaxing. That's my goal - you just have fun and leave the learning to me. ☺️ - Rick
    When in Nashville…
    Jeffrey_R, Mar 2023
Fun time for sure!! We’re from Jersey, never line danced before but when in Nashville… We had a patient instructor who taught us two dances all the way through and then we put it to music. I would def recommend.
    Response from Host, Mar 2023
Thank you, Jeffrey! It was so fun teaching y'all! We are glad you enjoyed! Rick has a passion for teaching, not to mention dance! Watching y'all learn the dances made our day!!!
