Great tour and very informative about the Civil War in America - the tour guides in each of the houses were very fluent in their accounts and kept the interest. Franklin a lovely town with lots of boutique shops.

Great info from each speaker. My issue was even though 7 hrs is great for price, no places to sit during tour. Lots of seniors to consider.

It was an experience to see the houses and learn some of the history of the civil war. We really enjoyed visiting the town of Franklin and having the opportunity to wander around. It was al well organised tour.

The Carnton House and grounds were my favorite. Our guide was very knowledgeable. I just wish there had been more time to wander in the cemeteries. I also found myself rushing in the town of Franklin. There was definitely not enough time to roam the cute shops.

The guides were very knowledgeable and were good at delivering the information. Franklin downtown was a nice break with several options for food.

Absolutely fantastic tour!! So informative and moving. The houses have been restored beautifully. Franklin is a gorgeous town, would have loved to go back there.

It was a very moving experience learning the number of soldiers (both North & South) that lost their lives during the Battle of Franklin. The tour guides did an outstanding job narrating the days leading up to the battle and the battle itself.

This tour gave a very human perspective on what it was like for the civilian families occupying the homes where the Battle of Franklin took place. These people were farmers and politicians; not military affiliated. Yet they assisted the soldiers and surgeons while trying to keep their families safe. In order to make repairs, one of the homeowners used horseshoe nails he removed from the 17 dead horses on his lawn. Some of the rooms still have bloodstains on the floors.
