A grand historic house–turned–Civil War field hospital, Carnton is a must-see for history buffs visiting the Nashville area. The house, now a top area attraction, once served as the grounds of the Battle of Franklin, one of the deadliest battles of the Civil War.

it was a very good tour and I would recommend it to anyone.
I loved the Carnton Plantation. It was very moving and the guide was very knowledgeable. The Carter House was interesting. The guide there was fantastic. I really understood the battle area very well. and the bullet holed shack was very shocking and moving. The Lotz House was OK. The guide was not that good, unwelcoming of questions, and sharing inappropriate personal stories. The bus driver was very cheery, friendly, outgoing, pleasant and knowledgeable.

Very good tour guides....
Very good tour guides. The whole experience was very good. Good timing allotted for each event. The museums were very clean and well layer out.

Eye opening experience
Tour was very informative during the Carnton home and Carter home but the Lotz home was less civil war history based than the other two sites. The tour could do without the Lotz house in my opinion and spend a little longer in Franklin for lunch, our time was rushed.

A must do for all ages. An excellent real life history tour!
The guides were very informative and I learned so much. I studied the civil war in school but they really brought it to life. It makes me want to be a better human. Our bus driver and guide was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. It was our favorite experience.
