This is a great experience to learn more about middle-class life in an Indian family, and to learn about Indian culture and Hinduism. I would highly recommend it to everyone. The hosts were extremely welcoming, hospitable and friendly and really went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. Don't worry about feeling awkward or having a hard time making conversation, the hosts are excellent at keeping the conversation moving. You'll be invited into the kitchen to help prepare the meal if you like. Often, multiple guests are booked in the same experience, so it is likely that you will meet other guests from other parts of the world during dinner.

This experience with Nidhi and Roopak was amazing! It was an incredible way to dive into Indian culture. I learned so much from the cooking, dancing, painting, Hindi lessons and so much more. I loved seeing the temple in their home and hearing Roopak sing a mantra. Nidhi and Roopak really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and were amazing about answering all of my questions about Hinduism and India. I would definitely recommend this experience!!!

Originally saw this as just a cooking class. Realized soon that this was more than just a cooking. Nidhi and Roopak made my partner and I feel welcome into their home. They explained the Indian culture, answered questions, and taught us so much beyond just the dinner. Very great experience.
