One of India’s oldest markets, Old Delhi’s Chandni Chowk (Hindi for moonlight square) is a perpetually busy area filled with narrow, congested lanes, each specializing in a different product such as spices, jewelry, hardware, and stationery. It’s also a great spot to practice your haggling skills—and the photo opportunities are extraordinary.

Best Old Delhi Experience
This tour is perfect blend of Old Delhi experiences. From the landmarks to the spice market and the amazing food, it is a trip you will not forget. Our guide Asim was wonderful and he was very funny.

Food Galore and more
We booked this last minute day of and we are so glad we did! It was a great few hours spent tasting amazing food and talking to the guide. Our guide Achaleshwar was just the best! He answered any questions we had and give us tips and recommendations. We also got go visit temples and iconic shops around old Delhi. There was no limit to how many times you wanted a certain food item but we stuffed from 1st. I wouldn't hesitate booking this :)

Old Delhi, Anyone?
I was able to fit this tour in during a recent business trip to Delhi. My personal guide, Guatam, met me at my hotel and whisked me away to a few photo stops en route to Chandni Chowk. Along the way, Guatam, conveyed important context about the city and its history, providing a narrative as vibrant as India’s capital city. The walking part of the tour was a chance to see Old Delhi in action. The markets wandered through were each accompanied by Guatam’s enlightening commentary. And the food. What an amazing array of options awaited me. Given the heat of the day, I opted for something cool and sweet, so off to the mango shake maker we went. Key to this tour’s appeal is its flexibility as Old Delhi unfurls before you. I highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in seeing Delhi through a local lens. It ticked all of the normal landmark boxes, but it’s brilliance is in its local color… and flavor. 10/10!
