The experience was amazing. JD was an incredible host and guide. Historical, cultural and epicurean! We spent around three hours exploring this part of old Delhi and JD brought it to life. From the temples to the historical sites to the tasty treats, the whole afternoon was a delight. Would recommend JD to anyone coming to Delhi. He’s top!

Absolute must do in old Delhi!

This tour is an absolute must do! JD takes you on a unique a food and old Delhi local experience. From trying street food to going to a Sikh temple to experiencing the smells and sound of the spice market. It will be an experience you never forget!

I would highly recommend this tour as an essential value add when visiting the Old City. I explored the area before the tour started, and I really struggled to make heads or tails of it, even as an experienced traveler. The tour did a fantastic job explaining the contours of the Old City and its place in Delhi, and in India. Great insights, great food, great company.

What a great way to spend a day! JD is so friendly, knowledgeable and took us to places we propably wouldn't have found on our own, and we felt safe and taken care of every step of the way. The food was lovely! He even gave us a ton of recommendations for things to do and places to eat, it's really helped us make the most of our time in Delhi. Thanks again JD, hope to see you again when we get back!

Highly Recommend and an Amazing Experience

JD is a fantastic guide, very insightful and really filled a lot into a couple of hours. We ate enough delicious food to fill us for days, all whilst experiencing the many flavors Dehli has to offer. We found doing this tour gave us the confidence to walk around Dehli and enter places we otherwise wouldn't, it can be a bit of a daunting city for first timers. If you want to eat a variety of foods and get some insight into Dehli, this is a great tour to start with.

I’ve wanted to try the famous street food in Delhi for many years (not an exaggeration), but was always too concerned that I wouldn’t pick the right/safe places to eat. Little did I know that all I needed all this time was JD! JD has done an exceptional job finding and testing the food shops of Chandni Chowk to find the tastiest places that are also safe for the foreign stomach! Everything is very freshly made with no risky aspects like use of ice cubes, etc. And tasty is an understatement - everything I had was delicious and a true taste of Delhi. JD is an absolute foodie and his energy for the flavors and history of the food you’ll sample makes it all the more wonderful. And that’s only the food portion of the tour! JD will take you through several temples and shared so much information about the history, culture, and architecture around Chandni Chowk. His passion for Delhi and its unique characteristics and quirks as a multicultural mixing pot is palpable and makes exploring with him feel more like an afternoon with a great friend than a tour. On another note, I was traveling alone on this trip and naturally somewhat concerned around personal safety (given various government warnings around solo travel, especially for women). I felt absolutely safe with JD all the time. He was so kind and attentive - I never felt the faintest bit of worry. Honestly, book this tour. I’ve traveled around the world and experiences like this are a rare find. JD is genuine, knowledgeable, and personable - I’d go on any tour he organized.

I can’t stress just how good this experience is. JD has really crafted something special here. He takes you to different religious buildings, food joints and a spice market. The food is tried and tested, so you don’t have to worry about getting sick. JD is a very sociable person, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommended!

Magical ! Best Walking Tour in Delhi

We met our amazing tour guide JD across the street of the Red Fort. JD gave detailed directions on where to meet him and was responsive on WhatsApp. Spoke excellent English and his smile is contagious. I loved that he was willing to take many photos and videos throughout our tour. I love photos and make our tour to Delhi memorable. The food stops along the way were delicious and we had no stomach issues (which I was a bit worried about but JD reassured us that he picked the best and safe stops). The photo stop on top of the spice market roof was unbelievable and my favorite memory of Delhi. The temples were stunning with their colorful flowers inside. Ladies be sure to bring a scarf! I forgot mine but the temples to have for you to borrow. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as it is a lot of walking. I would also bring hand sanitizer and/ or wet wipes to clean your hands and feet after. you do have to take off your shoes at the temples. JD send a reminder of these key items as well. Which was so thoughtful. Highly recommend you book this tour! and be sure to go on a empty stomach- lots of food! Thank you again JD!

Authentic Old Delhii tour

A truly authentic taste of Old Delhi not to be missed when visiting this city. Special thanks to our very knowledgeable local guide, JD, who showed us places we never could have found or known about. The street foods were tasty & fun. Langar Hall at the Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib was such an amazing experience. The Chandi Chowk area is indeed an assault on ones senses that everyone should experience. The rooftop of Khari Baoli was a peaceful and reflective way to end our very memorable tour. Thanks JD, ( Jandee Bindra ) for being so informative & attentive. We will see you again for more wonderful experiences 🤙

The tour is amazing, make sure you go on an empty stomach. The culture aspect of the tour is an eye opening experience about the different religions of India. Highly recommend this trip.

Neben den Food-Testings hat uns JD Tempel, Kultur und Menschen super näher gebracht. Mein persöhnliches Highlight war der Besuch des "Langars" im Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib. Und einige versteckte Orte hätte ich ohne ihn sicher niemals nicht gesehen! Absolut gut und JD ist auch einfach sympatisch!! Einen klasse Eindruck von JD und seiner Tour gibt es bei Instagram #Foodtoursdelhi Merci JD!
