The company forgot to pick me up at the designated place which made a stressful start to the trip but the driver was very apologetic and thoughtful throughout. The plantation tour mixes information about the home, the family and enslaved people. Could have benefited from more detail on slavery and the guide being aware of an international audience (contextualisation of what I guess they assume “everyone” knows from high school but of course non Americans aren’t taught much/any USA history). Swamp tour was really good. Would recommend a warm but not roasting hot day to get highest chance of seeing a full range of animals.
