Isaac our tour guide was wonderful! My husband and I we're so impressed with the historical knowledge that he shared with us. I'm so happy we visited the staple spots in Nassau and learned more about the Bahamas!

Isaac did a great job maneuvering through flooded streets to show us the sites. We got a bit wet, but the weather is unpredictable and not something the guide has control over. I will say Nassau should invest some money in drainage as they are likely to get more 4”+ storms as the planet warms. We went through many flooded areas. Enjoyed the visits to the rum cake factory and the Victoria Steps. Highly recommend.

We were picked up at our hotel on Paradis Island by Bahamas Papa (Issac) who was a EXCELLENT guide!! He took us to all the major attractions and gave us plenty of history and time to visit each one. We stopped at Fort Montagu, Queen’s staircase, the Water Tower, Fort Fincastle ($3 fee to go in), Distillery with tasting, Rum cake factory with tasting. (My husband’s favorite). We bought three. Then we went to the chocolate factory which was my favorite. I got a white chocolate sundae with marshmallows, candies, and sprinkles in a collectible glass! Yum!! Our last stop was the Fish Fry (Araway Cay) where we ate dinner ( on you). Great food!! Excellent tour - Excellent guide!! Would highly recommend it.
More time for Atlantis!

Instead of group trip we've got out personal tour for two! It was amazing! Our driver Bahama Papa was very helpful, kind and friendly. We liked our tour, all its parts, including all testings. Unfortunately, Atlantis stop was too short. Only 30 minutes is not enough even to take a brief look on it. But our driver advised us to take pictures with Golden chair. And we did it! Thanks for him.

Poppa was a great tour guide. He provided detailed information about the history of Bahamas. The tour route included amazing sites, tasty opportunities (rum cake, Pina Colada like no other and chocolate). A must in the Bahamas is conch fritters. One stop on the tour was the Queen's stairs. At the top of the stairs, you can purchase conch fritters and coconuts. We appreciate Poppa for a great tour.

Make sure to get a specific address to meet at before your tour. Our meeting location said Cruise Terminal and we were never able to find them. We unfortunately missed the tour. They did provide us with someone to get us caught up with the rest of the tour. He even quickly took us to the places we missed due to getting there late, so we didn't miss anything. However, we never did go to Atlantis. When I followed up I was told they went there already and I was signed up for another tour even though everything I have said and Atlantis. Niether was true. We appreciate them getting us where we needed to be but to lie and say that we were signed up for something else isn't ok.

The van was probably the worst. Four rows of seats that required great flexibility to occupy the last row. No air conditioning for the first three rows with a broken vent in the back that had to be held open with my hand. Enjoyed a couple of stops, but the group voted to skip two of them. Nassau doesn't have that much to see anyway, and having 5 ships in port made it too crowded to see the venues. Atlantis was very unfriendly.

This tour was a total waste of time and money. We were welcomed by a guy in slippers who handed us over to a guide. It was our very first stop and we were very excited. The bus driver did not know where to go and it seemed like it was the tour guide's first day on the job. They also didn't seem to know each other as they were introduced on the tour infront of us. The tour guide later revealed he was just a high school student. The tour guide was friendly and tried his best but he was not trained nor knowledgeable. On the first stop at a beach with some shops, there was no explanation. After we left there, we went to a hill with a tower, again no explanation. It was extremely crowded. Then we were taken to a tiny shop called a rum cake factory. It was a complete rush in and out. There was then a chocolate factory stop, there was no factory and again no explanation of any sort just a store with a few candies. We were then taken to Atlantis but the guide did not know where to go and had to ask for direction. He was trying to take us to the aquarium and they seemed to have had no clue how to get there and then they were told we couldn't go unless we had a day pass. Everyone was totally disappointed especially the kids. Most of the tour was spent pointing out gas stations and driving on what seems to have been the same street back and forth. We were not given any water and though there was to be a stop to buy lunch, we turned it down as everyone was totally upset by that time. This was not enjoyed whatsoever and it just felt like we fell prey to a quick hustle. We hope that this was just a one off . Sadly, we didn't get to experience more beautiful aspects of the island.

The guide Bahamas Papa was very knowledgeable and accomdable guide. He told us whole Bahamas history in 3 hours and has deep subject knowledge. We were few minutes late and he was waiting for us patiently.

We paid $300 for 2 adults and 2 kids. If you just go out of cruise terminal, the official Bahamas tourism sponsored trip will be $40 per person ( almost 50% savings). The tour operator has bad vans and we were only 4 of us on this trip and it made the driver unhappy ( still I won’t blame him. His tip will be less Bcz of just one family. I still tipped him $40 to make him happy). So if you are like me with no clue about Bahamas, don’t book cruise sponsored tours or outside private taxi service or this trip advisor sponsored vendors. Just get out of terminal and book through Bahamas tourism counter. All other stuffs like snorkeling etc, do it your way. But visiting all sites at Bahamas, just use the one outside terminal.

John, Thank you for your review. We are happy to see that you did not have a bad experience on your VIP tour. To add clarity to your review for potential customers, your Family of 4 booked at 7am for a 10am- 1pm 'Group Bus Tour'. We upgraded your family to a 'Private Bus Tour which was in a 15 seater Ford Transit Bus with a private Tour guide for 3 hours for just your family, where you were able to spend more time at each stop, plus he took you to additional stops. You decided to prearrange a tour with your family so that you would know your family will be safe riding with a trusted company. Nothing of true value is cheap! $40 per person is a 2 hour group bus tour in vehicles that dont always have air condition making 3 stops then back to the port. If this is what you wanted for your family, then you should have done more investigation before recommending to other families that want to experience a genuine tour around the City of Nassau with a professional, trusted Company. We truly appreciate your generosity of leaving a tip for your Tour guide. A reflection that you enjoyed your Tour. Hope to host you in The Bahamas again soon! Regards,

Isaac was a great guide and went above and beyond with sharing his knowledge and taking us to a few extra places as we were the last couple to be collected. The wine, chocolate and rum tours were fantastic and we loved the free samples. We had a lovely day and would recommend this trip
