We waited for our bus and when no one showed up, I called the number on the confirmation and our reservation had never been set up with Grey Line. It was terrible! And of course, Viator didn’t give their phone number so now I have to deal with trying to get our money back too. Very terrible experience! Would have loved to have just gotten to take the tour we chose and paid for.

bus speakers were broken, they tried to move us on another bus, both bus drivers started arguing in front of us tourists- slightly unprofessional...bad weather day with rain, was given a paper towel to wipe the seat dry. Overall the tour guides work hard and are very knowledgeable but this tour felt like a cookie cutter, pump em in pump em out high volume type of tour. Sad i had to see New York this way.

NYC has notable landmarks and history , both of which were ignored on this full day tour . Bus roamed thru nameless streets , stopped at 7 Eleven on Harlem. No Wall St no United Nations.. Uniformed tour guide made this a seven hour tour of misery. .. waste of time and money! Avoid this tour and tour company

After 1 hour of our 6 hour tour, my 11 yr old grandaughter and I were left by our tour guide ...on the High Line in New York....we turned around and he was gone! No flag to guide our group through the crowds or preplanned meeting place. After numerous cell phone attempts to reach help, we gave up! Am still waiting for a refund one month later....such a disappointment

- guide seemed least interested in his job, for places where tickets were included, he did not bother telling ppl or helping them out
- ferry for statue of liberty is not going to take u close, its some cheap trip they found
- i have done many guided tours in multiple cities, but this was by far the works experience

Super hot day and it was hard to keep a group of 45 people together. We spent an hour in a mall before we lined up to get on the ferry. The group spent 45 minutes in line only to find out do to it being a hop on/ hop off, there was no way enough people got off to allow this group to get on. Another half hour was wasted trying to figure out what to do . The tour guide kept repeating the same thing over and over. Very disappointing day!

This tour was not as good as others we went on. The guide was insecure, continually walked up and down stairs of bus, and did not give clear directions when we got off the bus. We did not have guided walk around Wall Street, the South Sea Port, Grant's Tomb, or Little Italy as info said we would. We spent entirely too much time walking on the High Line!! Hearing the guide when we were off the bus was impossible very little effort was made by guide to keep the group together. Disappointed in this tour but pleased with others we took!

This is an excellent way to see the main sites of the city in 1 day. Our guide John was highly knowledgeable, mentioning many facts and stories including Movie and TV locations, the history of many buildings and parks and around the 9/11 Memorial. We especially enjoyed the boat trip on the river, riding under the Brooklyn Bridge and past the Statue of Liberty - Well worth paying extra for the Top of The Rock at the end of the bus tour where John checked us in and pointed us in the right direction for us to get to the top very quickly! Highly Recommend!
