    Great Experience

It was a great experience! Our driver was very knowledgeable on our drive to our destinations. The car was immaculate and we would use this company and driver again
    Excellent experience

We had an excellent experience. Jesus was in contact with us a few days before the trip to make sure that everything was clear. On the day of the tour, our driver Irvin came to pick us up from the hotel with a beautiful new and comfortable car (we got a bigger car than initially expected). Irvin was super polite, spoke excellent english and was very accommodating and knowledgable. We had Julio as our guide in Monte Alban that we picked up on our way. He was also great and you could feel who much he loved talking about his country and through his eyes we discovered Oaxaca. All in all a great experience which is well worth doing. Thank you very much!
    Awesome tour

Our driver, Daniel, was very knowledgeable about the sites we saw. The tor of Monte Alban was eye-opening and Teotitlan weavers were very skilled. Highly recommend.
Great tour of sites sorrounding Oaxaca City

This tour gave a great overview of some of the most impressive sights around Oaxaca city. It was fantastic to be able to visit Monte Alban, a textile artisan, and the pools at Hierve el Agua all within one day. Our driver, Daniel, was informative about Oaxacan culture and receptive to our requests to customize the trip. He also made some great suggestions for places to stop along the way. My only wish would have been to have more time to explore Monte Alban - it just just such an amazing archeological and cultural site.

This tour was incredible thanks to our amazing guide, Irvin. He was very patient and understanding with us and our 5 month old baby. He was very well informed and provided so much information about Oaxaca as we drove. I would 100% book another tour with him.

Monte Alba and the textiles were the highlights of this trip for me. Our tour guide was also very nice, on time, professional, and knowledgeable about the area. Would absolutely recommend this tour.

Our guide and driver for the day was really friendly and helpful and found us an excellent guide to Monte Albán which was fascinating. Other parts of the trip also good but MA was the highlight

Nos hubiera encantado obtener 5 estrellas, pero eso nos ayuda a no entrar en zona de confort y dar siempre el máximo en nuestros servicios. Gracias por su comentario, saludos desde Oaxaca.

Thank you so much, Daniel menciona that you’re one of the few good customers that have shown so real and the talk with him about metal music and politics was epic…
    Just a driver
    deanna_c, Jan 2024
The experience depends on the tour guide... Our driver was simply a driver and not a tour guide... he was not engaging or interesting... He simply drove us from place to place...
    Response from Host, Mar 2024
Si regresan a Oaxaca, me encantaría atenderte personalmente. Saludos.
    Our best day in Oaxaca!

We had such a wonderful time on this tour! Our tour guide Juan was incredible - so knowledgeable, so fun and funny, we loved every minute. I’d recommend this tour to anyone!!
    So much fun!

Our tour guide, Irvin, picked us up right on time and even waited for us right outside our hotel. All the destinations were amazing. The ruins were educational and breathtaking. Our guide there, Juan, was super knowledgeable and very entertaining because you could tell he loved his country and his work. We joined another couple for the ruins tour and it was great because everyone had different questions along the way. The textile tour was right up our alley. My sister and I love art and the process and it was a privilege to see how they had been creating beautiful rugs and works of art for 4 generations!!! The petrified waterfall and pools were beautiful and refreshing to swim in. We don’t drink Mezcal, but we went on the quick tour and learned about the age old way of making the spirit. Very involved and interesting! Mid-day we stopped for lunch and the food was delicious. We even tried fried crickets. Pretty good actually! The whole experience was amazing. A long day full of so much beauty and blessing. Irvin was easy-going and tailored the tour to our needs. Muchas gracias to the whole team!
A long, but satisfying day with a pleasant driver

There were three of us, so we decided to book a private tour to Monte Alban and Hierve el Agua. Our driver Daniel was a lovely, interesting guy who showed up on time with an impeccable vehicle. We enjoyed our time with him. The tour included a stop in a weaving workshop in Teotitlan, which was a bonus, and a mezcal tasting, which we skipped because we were taking things slow and we ran out of time. There was a very good guide waiting for us (by the company's prior arrangement) at Monte Alban. Interesting place, as always. Having gone there twice, once with a guide and once without, a guide is definitely a good investment. Teotitlan included a perfunctory but interesting presentation by the shop owner about yarn spinning, dye making (fascinating) and the weaving process that really brought home how complex it all is, and why woven goods are often so expensive. The products for sale were stunning. Hierve el Agua - well, you can read about it anywhere. If you like that sort of thing (and we do), it's fantastic. The driver dropped us outside the ticket office, and came to pick us up when we called to say we were done. Home around 7:30 (after a 9am start). Basically we were supplied with a competent driver in a nice vehicle, a pre-arranged tour (Monte Alban) and a pre-arranged presentation/sales pitch. Presumably if we had had time for the mezcal tasting, it would have been similar to Teotitlan: an instructional sales pitch, followed by an opportunity to shop. Par for the course, but everything was managed professionally and as promised, so we have no complaints.
    Don’t take Viator in Oaxaca!

Guide never showed! Getting refunded but lost a whole day and ruined out plans for our whole stay in Oaxaca!
    Response from Host, Nov 2023
Your reservation did not appear and you never sent us the location of your hotel until an hour before.
    A must with private guide

Excellent day trip and private tour makes all the difference if you want to enjoy at your own pace. Jesus was polite and accommodating. Very knowledgeable. Great tour guide. We ended up skipping hierve el agua and substituted for other attractions which were closer.

Amazing and worth it experience. Get Alex to be your guide!
    RolandLouie_Y, Nov 2023
We had got picked up at our hotel by our guide for the day. Alex was an amazing host. Taught us different things about Oaxaca. He showed us diff local places to eat that were sooo good. As a chef, I was truly impressed on the food places he took us and ones he recommended. The mezcal tasting we went to was unreal. From small mezcal makers to the big distilleries. We had a run in with the Federales which was odd but really put into the experience (we were fine and had a huge laugh about it). My group and I exchanged information with Alex and considered him a friend. I cannot recommend this experience enough. It was sooo worth it. Ask for Alex to be your guide!!! He’s the Chingón!
    Response from Host, Nov 2023
Jajajaja gracias, Alex me dijo que le dio mucho gusto conocerlos que son unas personas increíbles y que se la pasó muy bien con ustedes en el tour de todo el día. Excelente día…!!

Our tour guide was prepared, very knowledgeable, and so organized. You could tell that he had a strong grasp of historical and cultural facts for the places we visited. He created a wonderful experience for us.
    Beautiful Oaxaca!

Monte Albán is amazing! Don't miss this beautiful arqueological place. Hierve el Agua hasn't been taken care appropriately, the bathrooms were horrible and they ask for money! There's a pool without any maintenance. Still is a nice place but the managers just keep the money and they don't spend it un infrastructure. Mezcal was great but we missed the agave fields. The textile owners has very good quality products, a bit expensive but the presentation about the coloring make was amazing!
