    A magical place introduced to us by an exceptional guide

    Over the years, my family and I have visited a number of countries. We have always benefited from guided tours because it would give us the opportunity to learn the things you could not learn/hear from other sources. This time our guide was Naumka about whom I can confidently say that she was the best guide we have had in more than 30 years. Her devotion and love for the city and the surrounding area were breathtaking and matched only by her boundless energy and love for sharing all the knowledge she has accumulated over the years. Naumka was tireless in her determination to show us the most she could. She was very punctual and pleasant and demonstrated exceptional knowledge of the local culture, history and cuisine. Naumka is a polyglot which she has demonstrated during our tour. Ohrid is a magical place, unfortunately, not very well known to the outside world. It is the UNESCO site-Sapienti sat est.
