          Scrovegni chapel. Despite the limited time in the room with the frescoes, our guide gave a wonderful explanation of the scenes depicted. It really enhanced our experience. We also had a nice, informative tour of the center of town. Our guide was very accommodating, making sure we could find the meeting spot, etc. Our tour was scheduled for 12:30-3:30; instead me met 12:15-2:30 and we felt the tour could have been a bit longer/more extensive.

          I had such a poor guide that the day was nit at all what I expected. Her English was poor, her knowledge was basic and her personality was boring , somber and not suitable. My day was a great disappointment

          Great tour. I learned so much about the history of Padua that I would never have known. The guide through the Scrovegni Chapel also illuminated the significance of these phenomenal art works.           First of all our guide, Laura was just incredible. So knowledgeable and accommodating. Second, the sights speak for themselves. If you have a day to spend in Padua, you should do the walking tour, no question! Highlights were St Anthony's Cathedral and the Scrovegni Chapel but Laura also recommended a few other places such as the Pedrocchi Cafe.

          A rail strike almost brought disaster to a trip planned for 30 years. Fortunately for us, Laia took over and booked us a car from Venice to Padova. She directly communicated with our guide Rossana who was waiting for us when we arrived and gave us a wonderful tour of the Chapel and the City of Padova. When the train strike intervened on our return Laia again rescued us with driver Vito for the return to Venice. Outstanding professionalism!

          Great overview of the city center, university and most importantly the Giotto frescos of the Scovegni Chapel. We would have missed the significance of many of the city buildings and sites without such a knowledgeable guide.

          Our guide showed us 3 things-chapel, coffee shop, university building. Then showed us pictures of inside university. We did not get clear idea of all that Padua is nor its history. This tour was too fragmented and rushed-we were almost running from place to place. Either need more time for overview or same time for specific sights. Guide was nice but not allowed time to tellus what she knew.

          The chapel was absolutely fantastic! We were able to watch a 15-min video before going into the chapel which provides a great overview of the story. It's unlike any other chapel you will visit. The additional walk around Pavola was very nice - we got to visit the market area and also got some good recommendations on places to eat. Overall, a very nice tour.

          The beginning of the tour was too slow with little movement. Things picked up. The part of the Scrovegni chapel was excellent. The tour was overpriced for what you get.

          Our guide Maria was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. She explained all of the sites in detail giving the historical significance and the artistic timeline. She was very open to our questions and her advance explanations particularly of the Scrovengi Chapel made the experience much richer. The tour of the old city center and the Rangioni grand room was beautiful! I would not hesitate to hire Maria again. She clearly loved introducing us to this beautiful city.

          So many "firsts" happened here. The old university was a highlight, but of course it was seeing Scrovegni Chapel and its walls full of Giotto's exquisite work that made it such a memorable time. Christina was a font of information and helped bring it all to life. Thank you Christina!
