    A fun and interesting way to spend an evening. Our guide, Claudio, was terrific with many interesting bits of history about Palermo and about different traditional foods. There was lots of food tastings and beverages. We were all quite full by the end.

    The tour director, Feda, , was very personable, informative and just fun. Her knowledge of the history of Sicilian cuisine was remarkable and added to my experience. I especially liked the bar that opened in 1896 but unfortunately I do not remember the name of what we tried. It was made of flour and sugar with anchovies somewhere in the mix. I don’t eat anchovies, however, this food was delicious. Ending it with scrumptious gelato was perfect. I recommend everyone take this night tour.

    Our Street Food Tour Guide, Federico Gargano, was an excellent welcome to Palermo’s culture, history, people, and food. She guided us on a fabulous walking tour of this charming & ancient city one bite and one drink and one dessert at a time. The five stops were fun, interesting, totally new to most of us & tasty. What a great first day in Palermo. One final note: Federica should be a radio announcer somewhere. Her articulate English language and command of vocabulary, slang, pop culture, etc was phenomenal. I was in awe. What a smart cookie who made our stay in my husband’s grandparents so homeland memorable.
