Fantastic Adventure at Monkey Islands with an Outstanding Guide!

We had an incredible time visiting the Monkey Islands, and much of our amazing experience can be attributed to our guide, Alejandro. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and truly went out of his way to ensure we had memorable moments interacting with the monkeys in their natural habitat. Alejandro’s enthusiasm for wildlife and his expertise in navigating the islands made our adventure very exciting

Julio picked us up at our hotel on time. He spoke very good English and taught us all about Panama City on the way to see the monkeys. We took a private panga and he had fresh fruit and knew all about the different types of monkeys. He also recommended places to eat and dropped us off at a nice restaurant. I would highly recommend him.

This washer than I expected. Great tour. Alejandro explained the history of Panama on our way to Monkey Island. He was really attentive to finding Monkeys before all the other boats swarmed in. A boat broke down and he rescued them which was really nice.

A Perfect Group Outing

We had an amazing guide, he was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. We got to have monkeys come on the boat, saw multiple sloths, and even got to hold freshly hatched Caiman Crocodiles and see the mother!! I have already recommended this tour to multiple people and will continue to do so!

We had a very good day. We saw howler monkeys, white faced monkeys and tamarin monkeys. We were able to feed the monkeys. We also saw a large iguana sunning himself. Our guide Ricardo was really great. And could not have been better.

We took the 1 pm tour. I was afraid with it being in the heat of the day that we wouldn't see much wildlife. I was definitely wrong! We saw all 3 types of monkeys (super close), a sloth, 2 crocodiles, a turtle, a caracara, an iguana, a "Jesus" lizard and passed right by a huge cargo ship in the canal! Wonderful experience!!!

Our experience was amazing from the our pick up to our drop off! Our guide told us history of the places we were driving by. The tour guide was fantastic and made our experience a definite five star! I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to see monkeys and other wildlife.

Viator not recommended for this tour

We were picked up 1.5 hours late after making several phone calls to Viator. Local tour operator forgot to book a tour guide. This killed the whole day as we had other plans in the afternoon that had to be cancelled. Tour was very short for the amount spent. Viator refused to reimburse us for the screw-up.

Just wow ! Me & my dad were met by Dwayne who picked us up. Dwayne made the experience fun & interesting. The boat ride was good with great scenery. The monkeys were amazing & Dwayne used his experience to get close to the monkeys. Some other tourists were becoming jealous seeing Dwayne attracting the monkeys 🐒. I would highly recommend this tour & you'd be lucky to have Dwayne.

Our tour guide, Juan, was incredibly knowledgeable about Panama and the monkeys' home land. Despite being a frequent visitor to Panama, I was pleasantly surprised to learn new things from him. The boat ride was truly a relaxing experience. The cool breeze and the canopy provided a refreshing and calming atmosphere. What made it even more enjoyable was the fact that the boat, which could normally accommodate 20 people, was just for me and my two companions. This allowed us the freedom to move around and get close to the monkeys. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the visit to the monkeys even though we were able to spot turtles, birds, termite nests, bees nest, iguanas, and a baby crocodile! We went on an afternoon tour, which at first made me nervous because the monkeys already had their morning share of tourists but i was surprised i still was able to get up close shots and selfies with the monkeys! Totally worthwhile!

This was a great experience. We had a boat to ourselves and our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the area and the monkeys. He knew exactly how to get the attention of the monkeys and what they liked to eat. We were also got to see some beautiful birds and turtles. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Panama.
