Ancon Hill (Cerro Ancon) Tours and Tickets

My experience was awesome and our tour guide Rafa was extremely knowledgeable and professional. The highlight of the tour was watching the sunrise, seeing the sloths, frogs, and various birds. We heard the monkey but unfortunately did not see them.

I did this walking trip with my mother and it was absolutely fantastic! The view were beautiful and the sunrise was amazing. Our tour guide: Rafael was just brilliant. The breakfast he provided for us was INCREDIBLE! This trip is a must-do!

Rafa, was very knowledgeable about little aspects about Ancon Hill and tips about animal behavior! We got to see a Sloth!

He gave our group the perfect excursion experience. He was timely, the hike was light and (so it is definitely fine if you do not regularly workout), the sunrise views were breathtaking, and the food after was delicious! He even went above and beyond to help me coordinate my birthday dinner plans. He was extremely nice so I would highly recommend this!

This tour is Well worth the early wake up! Rafael is an excellent guide! Delicious Panamanian breakfast .

Rafael was upbeat & informative . He made the experience feel like I was spending the morning hiking with a friend! I also appreciated all the extra tips he gave me about restaurants, activities & Panama in general!

We had an absolute blast on this tour! Rafael was great in communication prior, and was timely and welcoming in the morning. I’m so glad he does the tour at the time he does because it can get so hot in the day in Panamá, even as early as 7 and 8. On our hike we learned so much about the nature and animals in our surroundings. Rafael helped point out frogs, sloths, toucans, a snake and even monkeys! He was prepared with a banana and I think if it wasn’t for a crowd that gathered I might have had an interaction with one. After we had a great breakfast and tried some unique fruits. Rafael was extremely kind, patient and gracious with us. He is a really great guy to spend your morning with. :)

Can't say enough good things about this tour. First of all our guide, Rafa, was top notch. Well prepared, informative, and terribly attentive. We arrived with enough time to walk up to a spot where we were able to see the sunrise. The climb itself has a few arduous spots but the road is in excellent condition. Rafa showed us several features of vegetation along the way and we managed to see a few sloths. Once we reached the top, Rafa set up juices, water and fruits which was a nice break. On our way down, we stopped a few times as he made a type of whistling sound to attract the monkeys. It was very neat to watch the monkeys come down from the trees and see Rafa feed them bananas. The monkeys are smart. They eat the fruit but not the peel. Once back down, we boarded the van and went into Panama City for a delicious Panamanian breakfast. This tour was totally worth the early wake up call. Beautiful nature experience. And Rafa is a guide among guides. Highly recommend.
