While only one person is permitted per booking, your tour will not begin unless you meet the minimum requirement of two travelers. The agency will contact you two days before the tour to inform you of any cancellation

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Worth the money

A great experience and you get a real behind the scenes look at proscuitto production. Nice bus comfortable bus, not too much bus travel which was great. Our guide knew food history, spoke quite quickly and her English wasn't the best so was often difficult to understand.

An interesting morning, with a well prepared guide

We did the cheese and ham tour with Marika. We are a family with two teenage boys. Marika was a wonderful guide, full of fun stories, and interesting details. The combination is perfect because you really get a good inside into the culinary history of this part of Italy. They pick you up and take you back to where you leave your car sharp on time, and we had the chance to visit Parma afterwards. I would absolutely recommend this tour! Thank you, Marika.

It’s an amazing trip! We went to see the factories which produce parmiggiano reggiano and Parma prosciutto. The guide is knowledgeable, professional, nice and kind. Excellent look behind the scenes at some of the finest Italian food products- the Balsamic Vinegar portion was especially enlightening! My only minor criticism - we were at the prosciutto factory on a Friday at noon - and they had closed down their production process early for the weekend- not our tour operator's fault - but maybe don't book this tour on a Friday if possible... Our tour guide was fantastic!

A little disappointing, but no regrets

I’m glad I went, but wouldn’t again. The crowd was much too large for many of the areas we toured, and frankly, the stench at both the parm and prosciutto factories was almost too much to bear. The tour guide, however, was awesome and very knowledgeable.

This allows our customers to receive first-hand experience, yet we have to respect the requirements of the companies that host us. The smell you are talking about is also present, which also makes it a part of the experience as these are the scents of the Parmigiano Reggiano and the Parma ham in production. I'm happy that you appreciated our guide which has the task of making you participate in the real life of companies.

Full day tour

Really great experience! We selected the full day tour. Our tour guide, Roberta, was very good with describing the process of each area. It was also nice to chat with her about the history, and art, in the area. The Parmesan and Prosciutto areas were very cool to see and they both provided very nice amounts of samples to try for each. The lunch provided was very good and family owned! However, the Traditional Balsamic tour was the highlight for me as it was something I had never heard about. That was wonderful to hear about their process and almost family tradition that’s in the area. I would recommend the tour, and would highly recommend the full day tour.
