Overview

Get on a UTV to do some self-guided exploration of the Black Canyon desert in Arizona. You’ll get to do the driving, after a safety briefing before you go. Up to 4 people can ride in the UTV. It’s a 3 hour experience with one hour to check in, and 2 hours to train and go ride through the mountainous and desert landscape. Helmet, goggles, and face mask are all set up for you to use. Bookings are per vehicle. If your group requires more than one vehicle, please create multiple bookings. Max of 4 people per vehicle.
  • Safety first, as you’ll be receiving a safety training before you ride
  • Can take up to 3 of your friends with you in each vehicle
  • Explore the desert on your own- you’ll be provided with a paper map though
  • Take your time, explore at your own pace, and enjoy the scenery

  • A signed waiver will be required in order to participate
  • Must be 16+ to drive with a valid ID
  • For the best experience we recommend booking the early morning tour times, temps are cooler and group sizes are smaller
  • Bookings are per vehicle. If your group requires more than one vehicle, please create multiple bookings. Max of 4 people per vehicle.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

The staff was super warm and friendly. They cared about your safety and ensured you understood what it means to be safe. The course was fun and easily filled the two hours. Would definitely recommend.

This was well worth the time.our guide Jeff and Brin were excellent. You really get to understand the terrain the pioneers had to overcome to get to the west coast. We stop to get course on surviving the desert and sample cactus.

Great trails with even better machines. Loved it. Easy to drive UTV for first time users. Great staff, super helpful. Beautiful scenery and expect to get a little dusty.

Switched from unguided to guided and im very happy that we did. Our guide Jeff, was amazing and was very knowledgeable. He provided a lot of history in the mountains, informed us on the diff types of plants, constantly checked in to make sure we were good (114° weather). And kept cold bottles of water on rotation for everyone. We plan to come again with our boys!
