Patrick was our tour guide and he was awesome. We had a rocky start when we couldn't find the meeting point. Patrick called me and got us where we needed to be. We brought it to his attention about the description on Viator for the meeting point and he agreed that it needed to be changed. He was very informative and all 11 of us had a great tour with him. I recommend taking this tour!

Our tour guide for the last 3 hours was Albina. What a fantastic guide and tour. Albi was so engaging and passionate about the history of the Prague castle. We thoroughly enjoyed her tour and we would not have got the in-depth understanding (along with dose of humour) if we had tried self-touring. A must do for an entertaining and informative few hours in this beautiful city of Prague.

She was filled with tons of information, had a great sense of humor and really introduced us to this amazing city and the castle. What a great three hours learning history while taking in the beauty of Prague Castle. Gunter provided superb tour at great pace. I wasn’t sure we would be able to see everything or feel rushed. I was wrong! You can’t go wrong with this tour as solo, couple or small group. I highly recommend the tour!

Don't waste your money!

This entire tour was a HUGE waste of money. We paid $310.14CAD for the two of us and the actual ticket price/person was $14.78 based on today's conversion rates. We expected that we would be provided some form of private transportation for this amount of money BUT we were not. Our guide met us at our hotel at 1PM (the time that was designated for the start of the tour) and advised us that we would be taking a tram to the castle (which we paid for). We arrived at the castle grounds at 1:25PM. We then started the tour and then watched the changing of the guards at 2PM. We did not enter the Palace at any time during the entire tour. At 3:30 our guide advised us that the tour was finished - that does not add up to 3 hours!! To top things off we were told that the tour ended at the castle and it was up to us to find our own way back to our hotel. We certainly don't know why this tour cost $310. Our guide, Matej, was very well informed with respect to the history of the entire tour but it certainly was not worth $300.

I should have gone with you through the south garden back to the castle's main gate, my leaving you at the garden's entrance 15 minutes earlier was a terrible mistake. If I had known it would be difficult for you to find way back to your hotel, I would definitely have walked you to take a tram or a taxi. I am very sorry for your inconvenience. Best regards, Matej"

Our tour guide Albi was fantastic and provided so much interesting information that we would not have been able to obtain on our own. It was also great not to have to purchase tickets or wait in lines. A private tour is the way to go. Worth every penny!
