We spent an absolutely WONDERFUL day with some very special people. Vlastimil, Jane and Stan! They were the awesome tour guides for this adventure. They were super knowledgeable about the area. We even got to search for garnets. The winery was fantastic and educational, with a very nice restaurant. But the best part really were our new friends. I'd recommend any one of them individually, but as a group they were so much fun! My sister and I were on a sister trip, and they so completed it! I'll also say, of the tours we did this was the only one with a female guide. I really liked that. And they even took pictures of the day and sent them on to us via email!

Our favorite day in the Czech Republic!

My husband and I traveled to Prague for 5 days and felt we needed a quieter day outside the city so we booked this day trip. It turned out to be our favorite day! Martin and Linda were incredibly welcoming and excited to share their knowledge and passion for wine, the vineyards, Czech history, and the smaller villages/countryside outside of Prague. 10/10 experience, if we ever come back we'll be sure to book it again or something similar with them.

A wonderful day in the country

We spent 6 wonderful hours with or tour guide, Paul. He spent time explaining wine making and bottling, answering all of our questions. After tasting a few varieties we went to the actual vineyards, with more history and descriptions. We were taken into the countryside for lunch before returning. Thanks, too, to our driver, Nikolai, who took us safely to and from our hotel. If you have a free day in Prague, don't miss this opportunity.

Unexpected great tour

We booked this as Prague Castle was closed due to EU Summit. I could of not been more pleased. You go to only one winery but the wine was very good. I bought 2 bottles to use during out trip. You go up into the Vineyard, get a history lesson and see parts of the country side that you may of never seen. To top it off it includes a wonderful, relaxed lunch at a beautiful, cozy restaurant.

The wine tour wasn't like any other we have been on. We didn't visit as many wineries, although we did get to visit the countryside and experience the area. Lunch was fabulous and we had a great day learning about the wines and countryside in the Czech Republic.

Our wine tour was such an enjoyable experience. The vehicles and drivers were very nice, the tour guides were fun to be with, easy to listen to, and very knowledgeable. We were able to see areas of the Czech Republic that we would not have on our own, we tasted and learned about some really nice wines, we got a bit of history information included which was wonderful, and we had an exceptional lunch. The tour was paced very well, with breaks, snacks, and activities throujghout. We would definitely recommend this tour!

Overall, this was a wonderful tour. It was great to get out of Prague and see the countryside, which was beautiful. The scenery is amazing and our guide (Paul/Pavel) was excellent. A bit too heavy on the wine information (to my personal interests), but those who love wine and want to learn a ton about it, will be very pleased.

We had a great day touring the Johann W Winery with Vlastimil. He is a great guide and took us to the vineyards and to the old Cemetery and also stopped off at a local pub for a beer and some dessert. We would recommend this tour to anyone who wants a day outside of Prague. P.S. the wine was excellent.....can't wait to crack open a bottle!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Vlasta! We loved learning about the local winery and the local coulture. The tour was very customizable so we were able to focus on the aspects of the area that were most interesting to us. The wines are all delicious and the meal was quite delicious. Our driver was also very friendly and had great Prague suggestions.
