What To Expect

Meet up directly on the pier in Nuevo Vallarta or at the boat tour office in Sayulita (transportation to the pier included) to board the yacht and set course for Playa Colimilla. Enjoy breakfast and drinks on board as you take in views of the coastline south of Puerto Vallarta before dropping anchor to snorkel and explore with kayaks, standup paddleboards, and other water toys.

Afterwards, relax over a Mexican fajita lunch and drinks on board before cruising to Yelapa, with the option of basking on the beach or taking the 15-minute trail hike to the waterfall where you can take a dip. Enjoy free time to explore the village of Yelapa or opt to stay on the boat to unwind with a massage and the open bar plus guacamole and chips before beginning the return cruise through the Bay of Banderas to the departure point.

Crew tried hard so I tipped on effort. They were nice but not the experience I expected. I know the MC said town and shopping or Beach and waterfall and in fact there was no waterfall and the lie was that town and waterfall was one option and beach second 👎so I chose beach and waterfall and I got stuck on a jellyfish and infested beach so I couldn’t even go in the water there all I could do was drink cocktails and pay for them. There was no waterfall on site and that’s fine if it’s raining not rainy season and there’s no waterfall. Just tell me just don’t tell me that I should’ve gone to the town tour and bored with things I’ve never buy and no waterfall there either instead, I got stuck on a beach with junk to buy and pay for my cocktails and couldn’t even find the freshwater shower that they were talking about so just kind of lame also they didn’t take us to a great beach to snorkel or play we went to jelly fish cove to get stuff… wow hence get drunk you won’t feel it as bad… ghetto

Underwhelming Boat

Unfortunately, the good reviews didn’t match my experience. You depart from Nuevo Vallarta at 8:30 am, which is a 45 minute car ride from the zona romantica. The party music and hyped up announcements start as soon as you’re on the boat and don’t stop until you return. Breakfast was fruit and some store bought pastries. Lunch was overly dry fajitas. The waterfall is dry in the typical tourist season. It’s really a party boat for straight people who enjoy cheap shots.

Staff was interactive with guests. Making sure everyone had food, water.etc.. Snorkling water was a little cold, had other activities also available to use. Water fall had a small uphill hike. Area had a beautiful view eventhougth wasn't rainy season water fall sisi not have much water. Enjoyed very much. Would do again.

Great laid back trip, with friendly crew, good food, and unlimited drinks. We saw dolphins and a pacific manta ray from the ship, a sea turtle, an eagle ray and various fish while snorkeling, and enjoyed exploring Yelapa on the hike to and from the waterfall. Staff was fun without being annoying about it.

Use Trip advisor. Viator does not provide accurate start time, location meeting or estimated time for the adventure. We drove an extra 20 minutes by taxi to the wrong meeting point, we were told we meet at 8 when it was really 9 and it was 6 1/2 hours instead of 5 hours. I understand some things are outside of a company's control- weather, boats breaking down, illness etc but this was just poor communication and Viator takes zero accountability for the tours and adventures they book so it's very disappointing.

Great crew, super attentive. Red tide made snorkeling a total waste with zero visibility and the waterfall was super lame with hardly any water flowing. It would’ve been good to get a warning about both ahead of time even if uncontrollable. Had a pleasant time otherwise. Food was good but no ceviche as advertised.
