The small, uninhabited Marietas Islands (Islas Marietas) are located in the Bay of Banderas off Mexico's Pacific coast. Making up a UNESCO-listed biosphere reserve, the islands are famous for their abundance of flora and fauna. It's a great place to visit if you want to trade the crowds of the beach resort scene for some natural delights.
It was my birthday and it was glorious. The boat was clean and comfortable. The crew was professional, knowledgeable, and caring. I completely enjoyed the experience.
The service, food and entertainment on the boat was excellent. The snorkeling was good but not great because everyone had to stay together, so youre bound to get whacked by someones flipper.
The snorkeling for sure!! Margarita was such a great guide as she is a zoologist. Her information on the birds and the fish we saw while snorkeling was fabulous!!
Great experience! The swim in the cave to get to the hidden beach was a little intimidating but really worth it! All the beaches they took us to were beautiful and pristine. It was a small group tour so you really feel like you have the beach all to yourself.
Absolutely recommend this to anyone want to enjoy a private beach
