What To Expect

Your friendly guide and driver collects you from your hotel, then deliver you to meet your horse for a morning riding trip. Whether you’re a seasoned horseman or a new rider, there’s an animal to suit your need and level. Follow your guide along scenic trails and through the Anamuya River. Pick up the pace if you’d like, or just meander through the natural beauty, depending on your level of comfort and experience.

After a break, prepare to soar through the treetops on an incredible zipline adventure. Your professional guide is on hand to help as you make your way over the river as many times as you’d like.

Once you’ve worked up an appetite, tuck into a traditional meal prepared by locals, and sample fresh coffee from the nearby ranch. Relax poolside or take a dip before touring the ranch, where you have a chance to sample cocoa and vanilla grown on-site.

Then, pay a visit to a local cigar plantation and take part in a cigar-rolling activity.

Your tour ends with a return trip to your hotel after a day full of memory-making in one of the Dominican Republic’s most prized landscapes.

Guide was on time for pick up. Everyone was informative and very accommodating during the entire trip. The landscape was beautiful! The horses were so much fun and it was my first time for zip lining and they were very patient with me. We heard not so great things about other excursions but this one there was NOTHING that was bad. Worth every penny!!!!

True Dominican Experience

This was an excursion tag I wanted to do with my wife but was not the one I was most looking forward too, however, this activity was truly amazing. Jose was our guide and he took us through the heart of the DR so we see exactly how people lived. We learned about the cigar making process and even made our own cigars. We then went horseback riding which neither of us have ever done but Jose horses were very docile and I felt like a pro riding. We ended our activities with some zip lining across the plantations and even though I have a fear of heights, I had a blast. We then were treated to a real home cooked meal, which was very much welcomed. And it was delicious. Jose closed the day out by teaching us about how chocolate and letting us taste the raw cocoa bean. I was hesitant but it was actually very good. We tried some other products native to the Dominican Republic, the Mamajuana was my favorite and I loved the back story to it. I would greatly recommend this to anyone especially if you can have Jose as your guide.

Best Authentic DR Tour

We had an AMAZING time with our personal guide Jose. He provided an excellent review of the Dominican culture. The cigar factory tour was SO much fun and very interesting. He and his assistant were fantastic horseback and zip-line guides. We were treated to a wonderful homemade traditional Dominican lunch prepared by Jose’s wife - the best fried chicken, rice, beans, and spaghetti I have ever eaten. We were given information on a variety of local grown crops and got to sample fresh ground chocolate, hot chocolate and rum. Lastly, we ended the day with a visit to the local cenote for a swim. We highly recommend this adventure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable & easy to follow. He was pretty funny. Loved being able to tour where cigars were being made. I did enjoy the horse back riding & zip lining aa well. 1st time riding a horse & it wasn’t so bad. Horses were very well trained. Just kind of wished the tour was more in the jungle setting. Over all thought it was FUN! Would recommend it. OHH THEY FEED U LUNCH AS WELL. An authentic Dominican meal!! You get your money”s worth.

Jose and Domingo were AMAZING! Everything went smoothly, they was personable and made my friends and i feel safe. The gift shop we stopped at was affordable and would recommend waiting until this tour to buy things. The food was good as well.

This excursion was amazing. Very small group which was perfect. We went to a cigar factory where we assisted in making cigars. The horse back ride and zip line was so fun. Definitely love the Dominican lunch with rice and beans and chicken, super tasty. I would do this excursion again, You will have a blast. - from your new friends Pancho and Maria :)

I would have given 5 stars if we did have a swim and all the pictures we thought we had coming. A really nice trip though.... really enjoyed the horse riding and even had bit of a canter and went through the river on the horse. Zip lines around the farm was really good fun and the guys made it fun for us all. Food was nice, and the cigars and cocoa grinding was fun. Had a couple of free cigars of the ones we made ourselves. Trip was 5 hours inc transfer s. Jose was really funny and made us all laugh... I almost gave it 5 stars because of him. He also was in contact on WhatsApp for ant questions and the day before and in the morning of pickup. Thanks

The cigar rolling experience was awesome and learning the history. Best souvenir prices ever. The horse riding was worth the money, we really got to experience the life. I love Santiago (horse), well trained and great listener. Zip line course was fun and fast, and I loved the thrill. My favorite part was the food, the best Dominican dishes I ate during my whole stay in DR. The taste of coco, made in front of me was delicious. This was the best experience during my vacation thanks to Jose, and his friends and family.

DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE! NOT AS ADVERTISED!

This was not as advertised at all! It was not advertised as a "private tour" and was such a disappointing experience. We were picked up by a personal car (not a shuttle like all other activities) and was told it was just me and my friend for the excursion. We were expecting a group excursion since the photos showed that. The pictures on this excursion are deceiving, we did NOT go through a river for the horseback riding and the zip lining was so fast and disappointing - we only did 5 ziplines and they were pretty short and not scenic at all like the photos show. It says on the description that we would be offered "cold drinks" and we were only given water so if you expect to be given soda or any other beverages, their definition of "cold drinks" is just water with some ice. The description also said that we would go through the Anamuya River, and relax poolside or take a dip before touring the ranch and neither of these happened. We had no access to a pool or beach or river or anything similar to what was on the description. On top of that, we waited over half an hour to get picked up and waited a while after eating before we did the next part of the excursion. So there was quite a few waiting times. I gave it a 2 star because we didn't expect to be served food and we were and it was actually very good food and our tour guide was also very kind! Overall, this experience is not worth the price I paid for it. I went to Punta Cana previously and did the "Full Safari Zipline, Buggies & Horse Riding" with Hacienda Tuko and we did everything that was done at this experience PLUS more (dune buggy & 12 ziplines), it was more organized, clean and less sketch because there is a legitimate site for all the activities and is more bank for your buck. I contacted them for a refund and they were not very accommodating either. So, I do NOT recommend this excursion unless you wanna pay more for less. Book the "Full Safari Zipline, Buggies & Horse Riding" if you want this experience + more. It's more worth your money and much more enjoyable than this one trust me.

I'm sorry that you were looking for a tour that has large groups and we provided you with a private tour in a comfortable air conditioned vehicle at no extra charge. We pride ourselves and advertise accordingly that our groups are small and intimate in order to give you an outstanding, personalized experience. It sounds like your guide did give you an excellent tour and the lunch which is always included and advertised accordingly was very good. I'm sorry the scenery was not the same as in the pictures as your tour was on an extremely rainy day and the river was overflowing it's banks so we were unable to take our normal route. The scenery in the mountains though is beautiful on its own. It is unfortunate that you believe a refund should be provided when you received a private experience at no extra charge, completed all the activities, received free pictures of you enjoying these activities as well as lunch and transportation.

We had an wonderful time on this excursion! Our group ended up being just my boyfriend and I . It felt Like vip treatment. Jose was our guide. He was very friendly and explained lots of different things about the Dominican to us. From start to finish was a very pleasant experience! We would definitely recommend. The food was also amazing!! The best food we had on our trip!

My friend and I enjoyed our excursion from beginning to the end. We started at the cigar factory were we learned how to make cigars. Then went horseback riding which we really enjoyed being first time riders. It was a lot of fun. After horseback riding we zip lined then enjoyed a delicious meal made by his wife. We also learn about cocoa. Overall, Jose and his team did an awesome job ensuring our safety and made sure we had a memorable time. Check him out!!!!
