Make your own way to Capricorn Caves for your 1-hour underground tour of Cathedral Cave. Tours run on the hour throughout the day.
Follow your experienced guide into the brightly lit limestone cavern that contains rare ferns, massive tree roots, and some small bats. The caves were discovered in 1881, an offer a look into the geology of Queensland.
The high-domed Cathedral Cave is renowned for its acoustics and as a setting for special events. Near the finishing point of the tour, you can pass through the pioneer passage and walk across a suspended swinging bridge in the rain forest.

This tour was awesome! Worth the trip from Yeppoon. Drew was a brilliant guide and was loaded with lots of information. The total blackness of the cake was absolutely brilliant. I would have been super happy to stay there for a lot longer! Thanks for the brilliant experience!

We enjoyed our experience during our visit to the caves. Byron lead us on a very memorable tour through the caves with his knowledge and humour. The Cathedrial was a very spectacular place for sight and sound.
