Awesome day on the water
What an amazing trip out to the Great Barrier Reef! Loved that this tour group was smaller than the others and the guides were awesome! We were lucky to get such a clear day and there was so beauty all around us. Snorkeling was great, food was great, whole day was great! Highly recommend!

there were so many ways to experience the great barrier reef at this spot. I chose the viewing platform and a helicopter
helicopter ride over the great barrier reef to see the enormous size. view observation deck kept us dry. the submersible was awesome. did not have time to snorkel or scubadoo. wish I had more time. would have done that too

Snorkel the GBR… ✅
Fabulous excursion to the Great Barrier Reef. While it was a windy day causing somewhat rough seas, the experience of snorkeling the reef was well worth the bumpy ride. The crew was very professional and took safety measures very seriously. The BBQ lunch was delicious.

People Also Ask
Q:What is the best way to see the Great Barrier Reef?
A:Whether you join a boat cruise around the islands and cays, enjoy aerial views on a seaplane or helicopter flight, or take a glass-bottom boat tour, the Great Barrier Reef is a head-turner. The one thing you can't miss? Snorkeling or scuba diving amid kaleidoscopic coral gardens and rare marine life.
Q:What is the best month to visit the Great Barrier Reef?
A:Queensland's balmy tropical heat means you can visit the world's largest reef all year round, but the best time for snorkeling and scuba diving is during the dry season (May through October). With minimum rainfall, maximum underwater visibility, and lower humidity, June is one of the best months to visit.
Q:What can you see on a tour of the Great Barrier Reef?
A:Dazzling bands of coral reefs, hundreds of sandy islands and cays, and pockets of lush rainforest—a tour of the Great Barrier Reef is simply unforgettable. Along with 2,900 coral reefs and 1,500 fish species, you can spot turtles, manta rays, whales, and rare and endangered marine life.
Q:Do you need to book Great Barrier Reef tours in advance?
A:Yes. It's a smart idea to book your Great Barrier Reef tickets for a tour in advance, especially during peak season (June–July) or if you have a specific tour or activity in mind. But don't worry if you haven't booked—finding a day tour at the last minute is often still possible.
Q:What are you not allowed to do in the Great Barrier Reef?
A:Look but don't touch is the main rule at the Great Barrier Reef. Take care not to touch or kick the coral, refrain from feeding fish and other marine life, don't take any natural "souvenirs," and wear reef-safe sunscreen to help preserve fragile natural ecosystems.
Q:What is the best month to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef?
A:June and July are the most popular months for snorkeling tours of the Great Barrier Reef, and for good reason. Low rainfall and cooler temperatures mean underwater visibility is at its highest, making this the perfect time to admire the vivid coral formations and spot rare marine life.
