Definitely worth doing!!

Was expecting to eat in the actual aquarium which would have been awesome..especially in the tunnel part!! Would have preferred to be the last tour of the day as had a noisy group following. Staff however were exceptional in their knowledge and helpfulness

Must do experience in Cairns!

Amazing experience, lots of exotic corals and rare water creatures to see.The aquarium is so well kept and maintained . We get to see the most rarest sea fishes like puffer fish, porcupine fish, sea horse, barracudas etc. the corals on display are so beautiful. Must do experience in cairns.

So informative !!! Loved it

This was my first time doing a tour around an aquarium. Its a bit pricey, but I loved it and it was worth every penny. The lady who gave the the tour was a marine biologist I believe, and she was great !! She had me engaged and wanting to know more. It was way better than going to the aquarium by yourself and not knowing alot. We spent around 1.5hrs going to every section and we were really able to dive in and understand what these land / sea creatures were and what their purpose was. It was really informative and great at keeping the people engaged and wanting to know more! Absolutely loved it.

A great place to visit in Cairns!

Wonderful aquarium, and a great place to learn what to look for on the reef. We added the turtle hospital experience. It was wonderful! However, it's a lot of information and not very interactive for smaller children. The touch pool was underwhelming, but informative. We loved the shark and ray talk! Over all, worth every penny.

Wonderful and excellent experience at the Cairns Aquarium and small group tour

Chance to see so many different colorful fish. The staff were very friendly. They accommodated us even when we came a day ahead of schedule. One staff Indigo was outstanding in helping us around the facility including getting us in the group tour on the same day that was also scheduled the following day. All in all best time at the Cairns and the group tour. Chris the small grp tour guide very knowledgeable and friendly.

Great way to see the aquarium

Our tour guide was Mykelah. She was outstanding. So personal le, knowledgeable and full of energy. She told us some facts and fun stories related to what we were seeing. Having a private, small group tour was great and we got up close to the fish. Definitely a must do and ask for Mykelah.
