The basics

As one of the most easily accessible islands in the Great Barrier Reef, Green Island is popular with day-trippers from nearby Cairns. The Green Island resort facilitates exploration of the island’s underwater wonders, whether you fly in by seaplane or sail out across the reef. As well as swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, and seawalker helmet tours, there are island reef cruises, glass-bottom boat tours, and semi-submarine excursions, which offer an under-ocean look without diving in.

A great day
The ride to the island was great! The crew was friendly and competent. Food was very plentiful. Directions to find the boat were very clear! Had a great time. Only other thing would have been great was to get pics or video from a pro photographer as my cell phone took crummy videos!!
