Our driver, Ashford was exceptional. He made sure we were comfortable and happy every step of the way. The mangrove ride was relaxing and beautiful. Our guide was very knowledgeable throughout the trip. The young men on the horseback ride took pictures with our camera throughout. Riding in the ocean was amazing. The crew of the scuba were awesome! Showed us some great ocean life!!!!
Three excursions in one, this will go down as one of our favorites.

This was a great excursion with Sheem as our private guide. We chose not to do the horseback riding but explore the island a little more. The mangroves with the tunnel were very special to see and the snorkeling was beautiful. We drove out with a boat towards the reef and saw lots of different fish, lobster and conches. Sheem was an outstanding guide, very professional and friendly. We would definitely use him again.

The Mangrove cruise was so-so and underwhelming. Took an hour LONG drive to get there from cruise port. The boat was rickety and not clean. Horseback riding was a disappointment. I specifically asked for horseback riding in the ocean. It was a 20 minute ride on tired horses and the ocean part was literally a minute in 2inch shallow water. The only good part was the snorkeling. They use Daniel Johnson’s services. They were GREAT. Next time I would book directly thru them instead. We ended having a private driver and he was excellent. Extremely patient and commodating.

It was such an incredible experience from the host ride to the horses but the snorkeling was a once in a lifetime opportunity you can not miss when coming to Roatán!

The variety of activities was good. The mangrove ride was quite beautiful and unique. The snorkeling was good, but not great. Fish varieties was good, not great. I've been in better snorkeling areas, but if that was the best the island can offer, it still was good. The horse riding went a bit quick and the walk in the ocean water was very short. Unfortunately the shoreline is quite polluted with can and bottle trash. The horse ride vendor should invest some time to clean up the beach. Our driver was great and gave us some good insights to the island.

Our driver, Wilson, was amazing; friendly, flexible, informative...
Our first stop was the mangrove where we got a tour with Captain Alex. He was great, helping us to get the best pictures and videos, while educating us on the local people and their lifestyles on the water.
On the way to our next scheduled stop, Wilson made an unscheduled stop to let us watch a local, cultural dance since he knew we really wanted to learn about the local culture... this was an unexpected bonus.
We passed through other villages, such as Punta Gorda, on our way to a short horseback ride and snorkeling. Marcos was able to use our camera to take some photos and a video while we road together, splashing through the water. Snorkeling was amazing... large, colorful starfish, a lobster, coral reef, and the "drop off".
On the way back to the ship terminal, Wilson stopped at a location to give us an opportunity to purchase some souvenirs from locals. The trip ended with very good food at a local restaurant we would have never known about. Wilson tried a couple different places to get us a chance to try the local delicacy, iguana, but they were ask out. I guess we will need to come back again to try that out.
Wilson did a great job making the day memorable and unique for us. Thank you!

We had such a beautiful day with Selina! She made us feel welcome, safe and gave us such insight into history, local life, food - all of it! The pride in the beautiful island was obvious. As we went to the tours and sights we ran into her friends all over who treated us like friends! The personal touches were so lovely. We toured the mangroves with the hilarious captain Alex, rode horses, hung out on a gorgeous beach, ate delicious food, snorkeled in the reef, drove to the highest points to take in the views and even stopped at a grocery store to buy some local hot sauce and spice blends. We had such a great time and will be bringing out children back to visit as well!

Our driver Shem was very pleasant and informative, providing information and history of the island. Our first stop was the mangrove cruise in which we were cared for by Captain Alex. The cruise was very nice and the water and scenery was absolutely beautiful. We then went on a horseback ride with Enrique. Neither of us had been on a horse in years and these two were very well behaved making the ride very enjoyable. We then met on the beach for the last part of the day for snorkeling. We joined three other Travelers. We loved the snorkeling. We were driven off shore on a boat and got to enjoy seeing multiple different fish, starfish. We really enjoyed this excursion and would recommend to others.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Roatan. Every part of this tour was amazing for my friends and family whom I was traveling with. To be honest, we had forgotten the Mangrove Cruise was part of our day, but it was a very pleasant surprise. Our driver was great. And then our boat captain led us on a tour of the town above water that had been devastated by Hurricane Mitch but is on the mends. The mangrove was a great picturesque experience. I am not a fan of horseback riding but our daughter is. The stables and staff were on point. I enjoyed myself despite being terrified. And my daughter was in heaven. The same applies to snorkeling. It was a lot to fit into one day but worth it. The perfect taste of excitement. We will definitely return to Roatan.

What a great tour! We met our driver, Mr. Harley Rich, right at the port exit and he took us to our first stop, the mangrove boat tour. Captain Alex was very nice and it's great to go through the mangrove tunnels. Beautiful colors in the water and we got some great pics. On our way to the last 2 adventures we made a quick stop for some local food we requested to have. It was amazing! We then did our horseback riding on land and in the water. That guide took a ton of videos and pictures of us. The last part was snorkeling offshore. Save the best for last. Wow! The coral reef is amazing and the diver showed us the drop off of the reef too. Lots of starfish around, we even got to hold one under water. Harley waited at every stop for us and dropped us off timely at the port. He was amazing and told us some great stories of his travels around the world. We highly recommend this tour and hope you get Harley to take you around the island.
