The segway and the ninebot or other brands of personal transporters are not appropriate for those weighing under 100 pounds 45 kg, or over 210 pounds 98 kg . It can be ridden by people from 16 to approx. 68 years old. It is not suggested for pregnant women and totaly prohibited after the 4th month of pregnancy. Tour do not run if it rains. In case of last minute rain the tour leader can decide to stop and the tour will be either postponed or refunded.

Best way to see Rome!

Probably the best way to get around Rome! I took my teenage daughter on a the Ancient Rome Segway tour and we can thoroughly recommend it! Mario, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgable, patient and lots of fun! I was a little worried about venturing out but Mario went at a steady pace and gave us clear instructions when we were following him. I did not book a private tour but there was only my daughter and myself on it so I guess we got a bargain! It was as a midweek 10am slot. I must also mention the lady and young man at the office where we went to start the tour. They were super helpful and friendly. I’d use these guys again. Booked through Viator. An unforgettable trip and possibly the highlight of my trip to Rome. You’ll see a lot!
