You should to be fit enough to go up and down steps without assistance, in order to climb onto and off the Segway quickly and independently
Participants must be between 45 and 113 kilograms in weight and are required to sign a disclaimer before setting out on the tour
Most travelers can participate
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 1 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Great guide! From start to finish Ahmad was very entertaining and fun! The segways were a lot more safe and easier to ride than I expected. We saw some great places and views! Ahmad was wonderful about taking out pictures as a group too. Some in our group thought it was the highlight!

Ahmed was our guide and he made the experience absolutely wonderful!! We’ve done many Segway rides in other cities and he was the BEST by far. Lots of great tidbits about all the sights we saw, very cautious about crossing streets together, he even had snacks for us. Great personality and it made the tour perfect. His route was a great mix of parks and winding streets and busy areas and beautiful sights. Highly recommend!

This tour was great! Our tour guide Ahmed was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He gave us a lot of fun facts about Rome and Villa Borghese. His priority was our safety during the whole activity. The tour was very safe. It was our first time riding a Segway and we got the hang of it pretty quickly. The scenery/views during the tour were great. Thank you again for the great experience!

The Villa Borghese was great and gave the less experienced Segway riders time to acclimatise was amazing, Ahmed gave confidence and lots of info. Only comment was it would be better to have more detailed meeting place, ie outside particular restaurant, not just in piazza, we arrived early and could not find meeting place so walked passed

Segway in Rome

This was one of our favorite tours. Seeing Villa Borghese and portions of Rome via Segway is definitely the way to go. It was so fun and it is a great way to get around. Ahmed was a wonderful guide who gave us a lot of history about Rome and the places we visited. He went above and beyond for us. We didn't want the tour to end. Highly recommend.

Great experience with Ahmed! He showed us an amazing time traveling around the city center on Segway. We were able to cover a lot of ground quickly and easily! He went the extra distance making recommendations and offering to be a local resource for our stay. Would highly recommend this if you're looking for a quick way to see the city, and in particular if you want to visit Villa Borghese which can otherwise require a lot of walking to get around!

This was one of the best things we did in Rome! Especially in the summer heat! We saw so much, covered so much ground, and got enjoy a little breeze from the Segway along the way. It was such a touristy thing to do and we had such a great time. Ahmed was patient with teaching us how to ride the Segways and when one of the girls in our group remained less than confident, he stuck by her he whole time. It was great starting in the gardens because we got to learn to maneuver the segways while being surrounded by such beautiful views! Then into Rome’s city center we were all a lot more confident to avoid pedestrians and auto traffic. I highly recommend this tour- it was a blast!
