      A wonderful experience!

Our tour guide was impressively knowledgeable and wonderful with the young children in our group. She made the experience fun and educational and we truly enjoyed our time with her. Highly recommend!
      It’s worth it!

We had Donato as a tour guide. He was amazing with our kids, 8 years and 10 years. He was friendly, funny, informative with captivating stories and games, all just came along very naturally from him. Time flew by while 2 hours at the colosseum and forum with lots of walking, kids didn’t complain once.
      Definitely take this one
      Arlin_M, Apr 2024
Our guide, Manuela, engaged well with the kids and the adults. She made the experience fun, asked the children questions, and even got my very shy daughter to participate. She even took photos of us and the other family which I’m sure isn’t the fun part of her job. I greatly recommend this tour, even if you don’t have small kids, as the other tour groups were too large and I could tell it was harder to keep up. This tour will not take you down to the basement which I really wanted to see, but it was fun nonetheless. You won’t regret it.
      Fantastic tour!

An absolutely brilliant tour, and probably the highlight of our trip to Rome. Marco was a fantastic guide - extremely knowledgeable and was fully engaged in entertaining us, and particularly our two boys, for the full three hours. We learned so much and it was a great way to start our trip to Rome. Marco really knew how to keep our sons (age 9 and 11) interested too. I can’t recommend this enough.
      Great experience

Our guide Allesandra was great! She kept the kids entertained the whole time while they learned a ton about the Colosseum, as did the adults. The kids loved the interactive games, relay race, and keeping score with their clicker. We had a great time and the tour flew by! It was a blast! Thank you for all!
      Wonderful tour guide

Sara was amazing! She made it interesting for our teenagers and for us. She was extremely knowledgeable, and her background in archaeology made our tour even more special.
Must do for families of kids.
      Philip_P, Mar 2024
Our tour guide was absolutely incredible! This is the perfect tour for families with kids, as he was super knowledgeable, and engaging with our kids. They learned so much about gladiator life and the Roman ruins in a way that was on their level. We have four kids aged 4-16, and each one had a great time, he catered to each developmental level.
An amazing way to see with kids!

We had Alessandra as our guide and had an amazing time. My kids otherwise complained all the time about being tired and walking too much but somehow for the 2.5hr tour they didn’t feel tired even once! Alessandra kept them super engaged and entertained. This was one of their (and our) fav parts of the trip. Super educational and super fun!
      Amazing Kid-Friendly Tour with Marco!
      Robin_S, Jan 2024
This was so fun. We had a tour guide, Marco, whose energy and enthusiasm during our tour was mind-blowing. Our boys enjoyed learning about the gladiators and other events that took place at the Colosseum. He played a game with them throughout where they would earn points along the way, which they loved. After the Colosseum, we visited the Roman Forum which we all knew less about and had never seen. It was truly an amazing experience to go so far back in time it felt unreal. We loved this tour. It was definitely one of our favorites of the trip.
      A History Lesson through Play

We were wondering how to engage our bouncy 7 year-old in a tour she would enjoy and learn from, not easy, but Bruno did it! He turned it into a game, combining stories about the people and place with activities just right for our daughter and the 2 other kids on the tour. Thank you!
      Great tour

Claudia was amazing, so great with our kids and a nice low stress tour for young ones. The gladiator training she did with our kids was so fun!
      Best guide ever
      Cassandra_S, Nov 2023
Marco, our guide, was amazing. My son said he would give him 10 stars if it was possible. Great with kids. In fact people would lean in to hear what he was saying because he was so engaging. One couple stopped Marco to ask if he had any other tours available because they loved his style so much. 🤣
      Engaging for Tweens
      Natalie_S, Nov 2023
Highly recommend the private tour versus large groups. Our boys (13/11) got to ask all their questions and were able to share their knowledge from the studying before the trip. The guide brought books and pictures, which were so helpful and engaging. Would like a longer time during the Forum portion, but that did not deter from the experience. Our guide, Donato, did a fantastic job with our boys!
excellent trip for children and adults alike
      Melissa_D, Nov 2023
we had a fantastic time ages 8 to 80 years. 3 hours flew past. Marco was fun, entertaining and informative throughout.

Rosella was a fabulously informative tour guide and was especially adept at engaging our two boys—ages 9 and 4.
Incredible tour for families and kids of all ages
      Nicole_U, Oct 2023
Our tour guide was amazing! I would 100 percent recommend this tour for families with children older and younger. Ours were 13 and 17 and he kept their attention with a small games to help us understand and made this experience amazing for us all! He was extremely charismatic and so nice to us all. He engaged the kids and knew all their names. Perfect tour and kept us all interested! Would recommend to anyone!
      Geared towards kids 5-10
      Tiffany_C, Oct 2023
We chose to do a kid friendly tour in hopes of getting the kids (ages 6, 13, and 15) more engaged with the history of the Coliseum. Our guide was Julia, and she was very kind and friendly. She brought photos and a book to engage the kids, and gave them little quizzes throughout. I have no complaints, just an observance that this specific tour felt more geared towards the younger kids, so our teens were a little bored. Overall we had fun and enjoyed getting through the line quickly and seeing all that the Coliseum and the Forum had to offer.
      Family trip to colosseum

Great experience & Martina was a wonderful tour guide! She spent time answering questions and engaging in the full group of 3 families with very different aged kids.
      Great experience
      benjamin_C, Sep 2023
Excellent guide, wonderful experience, offers great value. Highly recommended for families with children aged 5-12. Not particularly suitable for those younger than 5.
Fantastico experience for kids and adults
      Jodie_D, Sep 2023
Martina was amazing with the kids, so friendly and warm! A great interactive tour with images of what the areas would have looked like in Roman times. Plenty of time for questions, if the kids had any, we didn’t feel as though this was rushed at all. Even though the tour is 2 hours you can go off an explore further in the grounds. I would highly recommend this tour! It gets a grande 5 stars from us!
