  • You will cover an area of approximately 8,5 miles (14km). The difficulty level of the tour is leisure (or intermediate with a child seat or child extension mounted on the bicycle).
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Excepting infants of less than 12 months (who cannot take part in the tour), there is no age minimum or maximum - this tour is suitable for everyone as long as you can ride a bike!
  • Stroller accessible
  • Infants aged 1-4 years travelling on a child seat (with load capacity of up to 55 lbs or 25 kg) come on the tour free of charge
  • For children aged 5-8 years a child extension (child streamliner) is provided.
  • Children aged 9 and above can autonomously ride on an appropriately sized E-bike.
  • Near public transportation
  • All participants in the tour are required to wear a helmet (provided for free).
  • Are the tours safe? The answer is: Absolutely! The tours follow carefully planned routes which have limited access to traffic, and some have no traffic at all, meaning you are able to enjoy your ride around the city in total relaxation and safety and you won't have to worry about traffic.
  • Infant seats available
  • Minimum of 4 participants applies (total number of participants on tour). There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are only 3 passengers (or less) on the tour. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative for your tour or full refund.
  • Please note: In the event of official/public celebrations and happenings in the city center of Rome, the company reserves the right to substitute one or more of the included highlights with alternative ones.
  • Most travelers can participate
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Our Guide Bita was adorable. She explained each stop with clarity. She is witty and engaging. She had pictures of the ruins from the original versions, which was very cool to see in front of the ruin itself. The bikes are amazing, easy to use and well maintained. This was one of the best experiences in Rome

Our e-bike tour through Rome turned into an unexpected private adventure, simply because no other participants had signed up for the tour in German. This stroke of luck meant we had the delightful company of our humorous female tour guide Christina all to ourselves. The weather was perfect, and we visited an array of stunning locations at our leisure, all while riding on top-notch bicycles in excellent condition. The professionalism of the company (Cannondale EBike) behind the tour was apparent, making for a seamless and thoroughly enjoyable experience. We're definitely looking forward to doing it again.

This was an excellent way to explore a variety of key Roman landmarks and to learn about the local history. The organisation was professional from start to finish. The electric bikes were of a high standard and were well maintained. Our guide, Francesca, was not only extremely well informed but also delivered the information in an enthusiastic and enduringly cheerful manner. I felt safe throughout and appreciated an additional (also very well informed guide) being placed at the rear of the group to ensure that no-one was misplaced. I would have no hesitation in recommending this experience.

Our guide Meagan was terrific! I recently had my knee replaced. I have been an avid cyclist my whole life. My wife is a novice cyclist with very little experience. Had it not been for the ebike the pain in my healing knee would have been too great to do many of the hills and would have been impossible for us to see so much of the extraordinary beauty and architecture that Is Rome. My wife's safety was paramount to me, we were celebrating our 20th Anniversary and I didn't want to lose her now lol. Meagan did a great job looking out for all of us! Very reasonably priced for a roughly 4hr expertly guided tour. Highly recommend!
