This was a remarkable way to see the countryside. What we hadn't understood was that it was partly on mountain bike trails. We were experienced road cyclists but not mountain biking. We couldn't do the last 5 km due to it being so technical and way above our skill level. That said, our guides, Fernando and Nata were wonderful and very understanding of our lack of skill! The church in Chuluma was beautiful and fascinating to be able to observe the rituals. Felt very honoured to be allowed into this community.

Amazing tour! It was intense... lots of hills to climb, and at a couple points I had to walk the bike... but my guide Josué was incredibly accommodating.
Great views, amazing meal, friendly and knowledgeable guide. I highly recommend this tour.
Do note that, among the tours offered by Jaguar Adventures, this is one of the advanced ones. They do have options for less intense ones, and I'd take one of those if I had to do it over again. I'm glad it was only me on the tour because I would have slowed people down. And mind you, I've since 100 km rides... but not with such steep inclines.
