Going into the hotel...

NOT scary, up hill battle to stay interested

These were not scary long winded stories. We walked uphill 75% of time so do not pick this for elderly or ppl w walking issues. Teen kids found it boring. More ghosts stores w details vs long winded stores on the architecture would be great.

This was an ok trip. Stories seem a little made up, it wasn’t dark so you couldn’t really get the feel of it. Guide was a great story teller though!

Do not waste your money

We left 20 mins into the tour. It was pretty bad. The tour guide was late, we were “waiting” for another lady and her child. After 15 mins we started the tour. After walking for 20 mins uphill and not hearing any history/ghost stories, we walked out on the tour. Would not recommend

Worth the effort

The tour was fun and educational. The hill climb is tough in the beginning but if you survive the walk around the neighborhood and learning about the different buildings and history is worth it.

I'm afraid many of the facts were just incorrect, including the Flood Brownstone attributed to 'Tom' C Flood, of no remation to James C Flood (the actual owner) Also, the Grace Cathedral is not part of the California missions, and I don't believe it was ever Catholic. I think it's always been Episcopalian.

I’m sure it would’ve been better without the multiple stops bc people couldn’t make it up the steep SF hills and I couldn’t hear the guide. So it made the entire tour boring. The frequent rest stops really slowed down the vibe of the spookiness and mystery you’d expect on such a tour.
