Overview

Combine Migrino Desert sands with Pacific Ocean panoramas in one off-road adventure from Cabo San Lucas. This tour by utility terrain vehicle (UTV) is led by a local guide, and includes a range of challenging terrain that you’ll conquer with ease. Cross desert trails, wind your way up mountain passes, then cruise back down to Cabo’s sugary sands. Photo stops are included en route.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

The entire crew was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Very comfortable environment resulting in a fun experience. Our private guide 'Joey" was excellent. Our son was a new driver and a bit uncomfortable, but Joey very patient and flexible during our tour. Joey's personality, personal touches and assistance throughout our tour made this excursion one of our best experiences while in Cabo San Lucus. Would definitely repeat and recommend.

We had the best time! José was our tour guide and gave great instructions. We were in good hands and enjoyed the long ride through the desert and along the beach, would definitely do it again and the again.

Disappointing

If you have ATV/UTV experience, you will be disappointed with this tour. We were required to stay in a straight line behind the guide and were not allowed to go fast or play at all. We were also told that we could not even put our feet in the water. Our guide had no personality. This was after paying a lot extra for a private tour since our group was very experienced. We also found out at check-in that we had to pay a lot extra for insurance and a park fee per person. This all made the tour super expensive. I gave three stars only because the scenery is pretty and although they wouldn't refund the amount we paid for a more fun private tour, the manager tried to make it right by allowing some in our group to go out with a different guide for 30 minutes. The second guide was awesome.

Riding was fun, very flat and easy terrain so good for kids and families. The tequila tasting was good, but recommend buying somewhere else, the price was double what you can find downtown San Jose Del Cabo.

Scam

I booked four people at $95 apiece. Had I booked two people the price is still $95 apiece. When I arrived they wanted my party sharing a 4 person vehicle. I requested two 2 people vehicles. They charged me an additional $90 to accommodate this request. When I tried to explain to them that the price is the same regardless it was a no go. I will never book with this company again! On top of the $90 scam charge they also wanted to charge me a 16% tax for using my credit card. I ended up paying with cash to avoid this tax. Not only are they scamming their customers they are also scamming the Mexican government by taking cash. Horrible unethical company!!?

The great crew made this a wonderful experience.

Great fun driving around dessert and beach. Setup is good, similar to competitors. It is pathetic however to spend $500+ and then be charged $5 per bandana if you don’t want a used one (the cost is 50c or less to the business).

Emphasis on tour

This is not a negative review, the guides and company did everything right. This is a group tour that goes at a modest speed. If you want to go fast get the private guide. We booked the UTV which was overkill for the safe and sane route we were on. If we were to do it again we would either do a private guide with the UTV or do two single seaters. Insurance. If you have any experience and are large enough to control your vehicle the terrain is not challenging and there is minimal risk of damage. That said, one person in our group did manage to completely flip her ATV on a sandy straightaway.

This was such a fun experience! Got us out of town to see some different scenery on beautiful Cabo. Our guides were knowledgeable of the terrain and very safety conscious. I highly recommend this company.

They over charged us for...

They over charged us for the experience. They also didn’t say that it was a 30 min drive each way and the ride home would be 1 hour after excursion. This would have caused us to miss our next excursion so they made us pay 100$ for private tour and pay 150$ for private transportation so we wouldn’t miss our next non refundable sunset cruise. It ended up costing us almost 500 per couple. The tour guide was also asking for tips constantly. They were also 20 min late picking us up. Would not recommend this company

We upgraded to a very powerful UTV. We were grouped with ATV's and after a short time asked if we could get a private tour. They were very helpful and we were able to upgrade to private. It was very fun!

Would definitely book this again! We went on the 8 AM tour and only had one other couple with us. Jose Cuervo was our guide and was so much fun and very knowledgeable of the area. We booked the UTV (side by side) and declined insurance. The views were great! Highly recommend taking a neck gaiter with you. Otherwise they have bandanas for you to use. We mostly just wore sunglasses with the helmet but I did switch to the goggles during the desert part to better protect my contacts. I recommend bringing a bottle of water with you. They have complementary water at check-in, but it is out of a water jug so you can’t take it with you. Tequila tasting at the end was fun but we did not purchase. Was a great tour and would book again!

Jose was the absolute BEST guide!!!! The views of the beach and ocean are spectacular. The desert rides were fun and adventurous. He even took us to a spot to take amazing pictures and videos. MAKE SURE to book this excursion!!! It was well priced and worth every penny!!
