Overview

Open your eyes to photographic techniques that make better photographs. This 2.5 hour class meets at Santa Monica's Camera Obscura Building to go over the basics of DSLR camera usage, visual theory and photographic composition. Then, try out these new skills around the beautiful Santa Monica beach and pier. The instructor, a professional commercial photographer, will help you understand the concepts and improve your pictures.

      We will meet outside of the Camera Obscura Bldg–1450 Ocean Ave in Santa Monica. Best parking is any of the easy to use parking structures just a block or two away from our meeting place.

    I really enjoyed how educational and funny our instructor was. He let us pick where to go then actually made sure we understand Aperture, Iso, Shutter Speed, Rhythm, etc. I have been all around town practicing since yesterday!! 🙏
