Maria made the day!
Roger_B, Apr 2024
Our guide Maria was one of the best guides we've had with Viator. She was informative and very knowledgeable about the area. There isn't a lot to do or see in Santos but she made the day go by quickly.
Great tour guide.

The tour could be compacted into 3 or 4 hour tour. Not much to see at Mount Serrat and zoobotanic park. The tour description said Santos major highlight is the the largest beach garden of 5335 meters long full of flowers and trees but the van only drove by fast following traffic so we can't see much from the van. Should have included a short stop at the beach to see the beach garden. Tour guide Mary is knowledgeable, well organized and good communication. She did good job to explain the city history. Greg Tour sent us picture of meeting point at cruise port which is very helpful. Santos cruise port has many different gates so without the picture it would be hard to find it.
Lemonade from lemons

Our guide, Romilda (Romi for short), provided an OUTSTANDING experience. It rained all day and , I can tell you that my wife and I were NOT enthusiastic at the outset of our day. Romi's experience and initiative adjusted our itinerary to be 'rain-friendly'. We cannot believe how much she packed into our 7 hours of traveling together. We missed the beach park and the national park but picked up several other venues not on the original itinerary. Osmar was our driver. He managed to workaround the flooded streets and get us as near as possible to sheltered entrances. Romi offered us three options for lunch. We chose to join her to eat local 'fast food'. It was VERY tasty and VERY inexpensive.
A very good tour at a very competitive price.

I am giving the tour 5 stars although there was a delay at the start in the Santos cruise terminal. Unfortunately, the tour started late because the original minivan had some problems so had to be changed and the replacement was delayed in traffic! Prior to this problem, communication about the tour had been good and our guide, Romilada (sp?) was knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Our driver recognised my mobility issues and managed to acquire a step so I could access the van more easily. He was also extremely helpful with loading and unloading my manual wheelchair when necessary….a great and much appreciated service. We saw a lot of Santos in the time available and enjoyed the Coffee Museum, Pele Museum and trip up the funicular. We skipped lunch although the restaurant looked good, and went down to the beach to walk along the spectacular ‘Beach garden’ promenade. It was beautifully maintained and had lush vegetation to make it a haven within a bustling city. A very good tour at a very competitive price.

We saw so much in one day. Tour director made sure everyone was happy, even stopping at beach so we could get some pictures. Saw Pele museum, coffee museum, even zoo. Enjoyed Mont serrat climb to top and view.
Santos in day

Guide was lovely, charming, knowledgeable and helpful. Only issue, and not her fault, was having two non E nglish speaking passengers with at least 12 who spoke English. She had to translate everything in to Spanish for them.
Good tour, interesting city, guide and driver excellent.
Robert_P, Feb 2023
Excellent guide and driver. Guide did explanations in both English and Spanish. Explanations were well thought about and time at each stop was appropriate. The slow start because of a traffic jam did not cause a problem or rushing to make up time.
Great. Accidently cancelled

Lovely tour. I accidently requested refund please ignore that. Tour was beautiful and thoroughly enjoyed.
Better value than your cruise ship!

Very good tour smooth paced and informative with Norma, bit difficult finding the pick up point as there are 3 number 2 signs but airport staff helped us out.
Forget Sao Paulo - Go to Santos and have a great day !
warren_k, Feb 2020
Like all travelers we thought the main port of Santos was merely a stepping stone to Sao Paulo - but so many people told us why spend 1.5-2 hours each way to go to a big city and instead stay in Santos - We were so lucky we did just that - Gregtur offered a full fun and educational day in Santos - a city that should get far more attention as a tourism attraction ! - one of the longest beach parks anywhere - a nice funicular ride to a panorama view of the city and the original casino of the region - we traveled to a wonderful pastry stop and more panorama views - our guide was enthusiastic and passionate about her love for this city - a highlight was the Santos soccer stadium - normally we would have gone the Pele museum but it was closed and we more than enjoyed touring the Santos soccer museum and seeing the field and stadium - After a great lunch we continued the city tour and finished at the coffee museum with much more time to spend reviewing the exhibits compared to other tour groups that went there - our guide explained the museum in detail and it was the end of a very enjoyable day Gregtur company did a great job on this shore excursion for us and we highly recommend that you avoid Sao Paulo and take this tour of Santos -

Totalmente recomendable. Muchas gracias por el excelente servicio.
