Dennis was a terrific tour guide who knows his history and brings to life everything you need to know at these two sites! I highly recommend this tour.
    Great Company with wonderful guides

EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT TOUR AND TOUR GUIDE! Must see sites in Savannah and best to go with a knowledgeable guide who can tell you about the graves, or the plantation. Unless you already know a lot about Savannah, I would definitely recommend this tour!
    Dennis is THE MAN

Historic and entertaining tour of Savannah
    Sullivans, Apr 2024
Beautiful day in Savannah to check out a historic cemetery and hear all the stories of the settling fathers… Dennis is a wonderful historian and tour guide! After a quick stop for AMAZING bbq and fried oysters we headed to Wormsloe Historic Site and enjoyed a stunning view of the majestic live oaks. In addition to being a great guide Dennis is a skilled photographer! Stop for a cookie sample rounded out the day! Tour is worth every penny…

    Not the greatest tour
    Leah_W, Apr 2024
I’m glad I got to go to Wormsloe and Bonaventure. It was convenient to book this tour instead of getting a rental car, but it’s not a very good tour. The day felt really rushed. We were allowed to explore Wormsloe on our own for an hour. The bus driver gave a very rushed tour of a few graves at Bonaventure, which is the worst cemetery tour I’ve ever been on. She wasn’t very knowledgeable about funeral practices, grave symbolism or who is buried there. On the way out she also talked about Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil which she also isn’t very knowledgeable about. I did a history tour for the book the day before and much of her info was not correct. Lunch was also disappointing. Based on other reviews I thought we were stopping at Erica Davis LowCountry for lunch. We stopped at a shopping center with several options to choose from: pizza, burgers, Mexican. It wasn’t the exposure to authentic low country I anticipated. It’s worth doing this tour to avoid the hassle of renting a car, but not worth going if you want a history tour and to experience the low country.

Wasted day I will never get back
    DIANE_W, Apr 2024
After arriving at the plantation we went through the museum and we're then escorted to the beginning of several trails. These trails just lead us through what looked like "the forrest" with the exception of a couple of building/ ruins. When I asked where all the cotton, rice etc was grown I was told within these grounds and elsewhere. Not at all what the online description portrayed. And did not enjoy walking through the hot dusty cemetery and listening to the guides personal likes and dislikes. Keep family out of tours. It's not what I paid for. Total wasted day.

We hate to hear this tour was not for you.
    Enjoyed the History
    NORENE_B, Apr 2024
We enjoyed the Bonaventure Cemetery - the history was very interesting. The nats were out so a bit of a faster pace would have been nice🙂
    Response from Host, Apr 2024
Unfortunately, no speed is good enough for the relentless sand gnats! We are happy to hear you enjoyed the tour. Thank you for choosing Gray Line.
    Dennis was our tour guide...
    Rana_B, Apr 2024
Dennis was our tour guide and he was great. He has been living in Savannah for 30 years and has been doing tours for quite a while. He knows how to get around and has researched the history of Savannah from its founding to 2024. He was able to answer questions that were not related to the tour itself and made sure everyone was hydrated. You can tell Dennis loves showing people around.
