    Try a Nice Sail Experience for a Change

    Yes I would recommend- excellent value experience! Getting out of the harbor they use a gas engine. Once out of the dock area, since it's a sailboat, they use their sails so its a very relaxing & nice slow paced cruise encircle the harbor. You get a great view of the harbor ports and the Seattle Great Wheel and Seattle needle and building in the back ground and the ocean & other lands in the opposite directions. They offer wine and can soda for very minimal price ($1-few$). Guest have the opportunity to help raise the sails. Upon returning to dock the captain & 2 person crew have to put the sails down and pack them up which expends a lot of energy and reminds me of it show in a way for the guest. I was thoroughly impressed and this is were they earned their tip! I thought the SAILING aspect was a nice change from a ferry boat so give them a try!

    I had the need to celebrate my 55th birthday a cool way and this is one of the events I chose to do :) I enjoyed it very much. The crew and other guests were amazing fun!

    The crew was hilarious. One saw I had my jacket zipped up to my nose and brought me a blanket. It was wonderful to get up and move around. The crew talk to us all and shared their stories.

    I really enjoyed this sailing trip through the harbor. Even though it was raining and there was little wind, the experience was definitely worth it. I would love to go again in the summer with clearer skies and more of a breeze. The captain and deck hands were welcoming, knowledgeable, and great to talk to. The one thing you should know is that the time you select for your tour is the time that they STOP boarding. I showed up at the ticket tent with my reservation in hand at 2pm for a 2pm sail and they said that I was too late. While they did let me sprint across the dock to catch the boat, it would have been helpful for this to be explained in the description of the tour prior to booking it. Whatever time you book your tour for, show up 15-20 minutes early to ensure you're not left on the dock. I was not alone in showing up at the appointed time and having to run to get to the boat so it wasn't just me that was confused by the times.

    So much fun! Took my parents for my dad's 75th birthday on the last beautiful day in October and they loved it. We got a gorgeous look at Seattle and had a close encounter with a sea lion. The crew made things a lot of fun - who saw a Cheeto cannon coming!? - and raising and lowering the sails was more interesting than we anticipated.

    Even though the weather gave a totally authentic Seattle experience, the ship was lovely, the crew friendly and efficient. A very relaxing couple of hours.

    The view of the city scape was breathtaking. It was so peaceful on the water. Also, the crew fired off a mini cannon, was so cool! The Crew was so attentive and kind! Beer and wine available on the boat, and N/A drinks as well. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

    This was a fantastic trip which I highly recommend. The excursion was so much fun and the views of the Seattle Skyline were incredible. The crew lead by Captain Nick were great, knowledge and extremely friendly and helpful. I’d definitely take this tour again.

    Very nice sailing though the wind did not cooperate with the trip. Crew was great and engaging. Got to haul up the sail and didn’t hurt myself or others.

    The company, the crew and the captain were great! I was disappointed that we really didn't sail. We just drifting in one spot for 2 hours. Nothing to look at after 10 minutes. If want to sit on a sailboat and drink then this is for you. I was disappointed.

    It was kind of boring and I felt like they were more concerned about selling drinks to us than the actual experience. We motored out not that far from the dock, put the sails up which took forever. We sat around for probably 40 minutes not even moving. We finally sailed for about 20-30 mins then turned around toward shore, sat for another 20-30 mins not moving then headed back to the dock. I was expecting a much different experience.

    The boat is beautiful and the crew was very nice and knowledgeable. We had perfect weather. I would have liked some description of what everything around us that we were seeing was. They were happy to tell us if we asked.

    The crew was great and were very entertaining and fun. You can volunteer to help hoist the sails! Great way to get out on Puget Sound and see it in a quiet, peaceful way. Drinks and snacks are available on the tour.
