The history of Jerome blew us away! This tour is a must-do and gave us plenty of recommendations and things to do, we just didn't have enough time! Beware if you're coming in the spring, it was chillier and raining than we expected from Sedona

Out guide Austin was fantastic, knowledgeable, and kept us moving quickly/did not let anyone butt-in to what we had paid for. Was worth the cost to us - would recommend this tour.
    Loved this tour!

Courtney was our knowledgeable guide and made this tour awesome! It was very interesting to learn about Jerome and I would recommend this tour to anyone! There is walking up and down the hills and some stairs but Courtney was patient for thr people who needed extra time to keep up. Again it was awesome!
    Surprising and engaging

Wonderful tour of Jerome. Our guide, Cloe, was knowledgeable and entertaining. I didn’t realize that Jerome would be steeply set, so I worried about the walking. But, they made it very easy, and shuttled us back up in a van. The group size was also just right.
    Learn Jerome in 1 hour

We loved our tour with Austin. Austin shared some fantastic stories about Jerome! We were really glad to have done the tour as it's hard to really experience this town as a tourist without understanding the unique and dark history of the town. Thanks again Austin.
Nice quick informational and fun (and a little heavy)

Tour guide was awesome - tour is short in distance but lots of good stories although admittedly a lot of bummers in the town history.
    Real stories of real people!

We spent two days in Jerome and scheduled a Walking History Tour while there. We were so fortunate to have Courtney give us an amazing tour! Way more than important historic people and dates, we received stories from all walks of life. Tales of love lost, power, money, revenge, religion, political intrigue, despair, death, hope and the struggles of persons in all walks of life. A great weaving of stories, exceptionally well done! Thanks Courtney, best part of our visit!
    Excellent walking tour

Chloe gave us the best tour. I wish I had booked the longer one because I didn't want it to end. She really brought the history of Jerome to life. My kids loved it too.
Do not miss this short historical walking tour of Jerome and get a feel and appreciation of mining life the late 1800s.

Our tour guide/Courtney was excellent. She has a wealth of knowledge about the development and growth of Jerome, quality of the residents' life and the historical ups and downs of William Clark's copper mine--the town's major employer. There were so many fires that she knew the dates and pointed out the parts of the town that were destroyed and rebuilt. Courtney was able to describe how development unfolded over the years making Jerome what it is today. A definite must do when visiting this area.
    Where’s Clark Street?
    Kathleen_D, Mar 2024
Courtney was extremely knowledgeable and her attention to details was very professional. We loved the Catholic Church. For a town with such a horrendous reputation this church remains actively alive today. Also the little church at the end of the tour was so magical and perfect. The cobble roads and buildings with such massive stones are telling of how much manual labor was forced upon the people to build the town’s infrastructure. Thanks to the hippies of the 60’s-70’s the town became an artists’ Mecca. Jerome is a delightful town. We’re ready to come back to see the town with our new found knowledge! Thank you Courtney! Oh, Larger signage for the history buffs would be helpful.

Austin was very knowledgeable about the history of Jerome. The walking was easy, with a lot of standing. There are a few stairs and a steep hill, otherwise not difficult at all.

Courtney was a wonderful guide — incorporating humor & historical facts into the tour. We were expecting to walk the entire town or at least multiple parts of it, (our legs are sure glad we didn’t!), but just as a heads up, it’s not a tour of the entire town. This was our second time as a couple visiting Jerome. I’ve been going for the past 28 years, and it was fantastic to be able to truly understand and hear the history behind what’s become a beautiful, thriving free spirited town. We highly recommend this tour!
