A well organised and fun day and as the weather was great we got to go to 4 different locations. Saw plenty of manta rays, loads of different fish and coral. Other ppl in the tour were friendly. Thanks Agung for looking after me before and after the trip, getting me to sit up front in the staff area AND going to the trouble of getting my bathers and shorts back to me when I left them on the island. Thanks again!!

Avoid like the plague

Overcrowded shack on arrival. Nonexistant showers. Guides spoke limited English. Always in a hurry to go to next spot. Never going back

Was the third stop al lot of corrals and fish, The second stop no rays and the third not worth. The office and the facilities horrible.

Good instructor with good experience. They can handle alot of trainee. Superb experience and sadly i cant see the Manta as the weather nit in good condition. We will come again to see u Manta.

Nice day on the sea

Everything is very well organized and you see that people know their job. It was nice boat ride and the scenery was majestic. The only downside was that we didn’t see any mantas nor a turtle but it is nature so it can not be predicted. Nice day spent on the sea!

Overall expensive for what you’re getting

Booked via viator with operator sari Nusa penida. Cost USD 85 per person for shared speedboat (25 people) + hotel transfers included. First you are driven from hotel to sanur port then a 45 min ride on a public “fast boat” to Nusa penida, then a speedboat to the 4 snorkelling points, and the same thing to get back. Budi our driver delivered the best service of the trip, very friendly and chatty guy. Five stars for him but not for the rest of the trip which was really nothing to shout about. Fairly smoothly run with not much waiting. Speedboat was nausea inducing as expected and 2 people on our boat were seasick. You have to pay attention to when to return to the boat because with 25 people they may not notice if you’re not there, although they seem to do headcounts at least. As expected the snorkelling points get crowded because our boat already has 25 people and there are other boats at each point. You have to pay attention not to hit other people, and also not to get too close to the boat engine which is still running and can cause injury. First stop manta Bay, water was not clean, unfortunately couldn’t see anything at all. Did see some dolphins in the distance from the boat upon arrival. 2nd and 4th stops crystal and wall point, nice corals and colourful fish. 3rd stop was gamut Bay we were told water was too dirty to see anything. About 10-15 min actual snorkelling at each spot. Post activity they provide an open “shower”- just water - and 1 towel. There are 2 change rooms so you can change out to dry clothes. Overall just some nice corals and nice colourful fish. Probably can try if you’ve never snorkeled and don’t think you’ll get motion sick on the boat, but don’t think experienced snorkelers would be that thrilled.

Sorry for your inconvenience, to answer your question: you chose the sharing boat option so you will be with 25 people on a snorkeling boat and for busy snorkeling spots: currently Nusa Penida is the busiest destination in Bali therefore many people are snorkeling and The snorkeling spot is not private so anyone can snorkel at that location

Well organized half day trip Pick up from our hotel transfer alone on the ferry but welcome on the island by a snorkeling company Be aware that the office of this company are really rustic and not very clean … but … we had a very nice brand new speed boat who took us to 4 diferent spots full of wonderful corals and loads of fishes ! We did bit saw the matas but dolphins ! The price is a bit expensive but the experience was great !

We had a fantastic day of snorkeling. Unfortunately no Manta Rays. However, the areas we snorkeled in were abundant with colourful fish and our snorkeling guide was very accommodating. The trip ran smoothly and was very well organised. Budi our driver, was very friendly and lovely to chat with, we learned a great deal about the culture. Thanks Budi and to all.

No mantas every time

All stuff was very nice I must say, but at our trip we actually didn’t see any mantas neither turtles. I came to Bali for a very few days, so if I would know the chances to see the mantas are about good luck, I would plan to see some else. Also I didn’t like I was forced to write a excellent comment by driver at the car back from trip, for what I give one more star minus. Anyway if you are lucky enough, that would be amazing experience. Also the view from the boat is fascinating. Wish you all the best.

Great trip! Leaving early is key, and upgrading to a private boat was well worth it amazing snorkelling, saw mantas and turtles. Driver was very good from hotel.

Too many boats/ snorkelers

Make sure to go as early as possible to see the manta rays. Later in the day you’ll be dodging boats in the water and other group tours. A little overwhelming. There are many fish and had a good time feeding them. Our guide was great and help us navigate the waters

Snorkeling was great, crew was great and very helpful. It started to rain and the water was rough, so we were only able to get in 3 dives. The staff put out some bread to attract fish to the area, we saw beautiful fish and got some great pictures. The scenery was amazing. We saw a pod of dolphins playing in the distance. I would recommend this for all ages and groups. Lots of fun.

Great trip, all snorkelling experiences were fantastic. Every moment was well organised and we were met by a representative at every step of the journey. Highly recommend. Anyone who is a novice like me just try it, wearing a life vest really helped me.
