Dressing Up Joseon Style
Jenette_C, May 2024
If you're into Joseon period drama, this is a must. There were so many clothing pieces from which you can choose. The mistake I made was signing up for a 1.5 hour duration. I wish I had signed up for more than 1.5 hours. It would have been nice to have worn the hanbok longer for more picture taking opportunities. 1.5 hours was not enough.
Great Hanbok rental place
Lara_V, Apr 2024
It was a super busy store. Mia from the Second floor of the store helped my family a lot. I am a plus size and she helped me a lot on choosing my hanbok for the day. Too bad they don’t have a photographer around to take a studio photo. I hope they offer it in the future.
Enjoyable
Julie_C, Apr 2023
We joined the free palace tour in our hanbok and it was amazing. Felt like walking in history. The rental venue was chaotic due to staff shortage at the reception which also serves as returns counter
poor organization, better choose nearby stores
Lucia_J, Apr 2023
too many people, poor organization and service, better choose nearby store, do not need any booking as nearby there are lots of other hanbok stores
DO NOT MAKE THIS RESERVATION.
Ramona_B, Apr 2023
Do not make this reservation. There are so many other, more organized stores with better quality clothing. These guys OVER BOOK and it’s insane. It’s difficult getting help, and difficult finding not only clothing that you like, but ones that fit at all. We regretted making reservations. The store next door has much prettier clothing and it wasn’t chaos. There really are about 20 other stores. DO NOT MAKE THIS RESERVATION. THE CLOTHING IS ALSO SMELLY AND NOT CLEAN. It’s TERRIBLE. If you do book, just book the basic. There is no cost difference between the thema or basic rental. That was upsetting as well. They do have a premium that you pay extra for, but good luck finding your size.
Quantity compromised quality
Christine_M, Apr 2023
The place was a zoo! Overcrowded, disorganized, fragmented experience, dirty hanboks and petticoat, long lines, confusing process. Would not come here again. They oversell in volume and compromise the quality of the experience.
Fun to do but don’t need to book online.
evangelineg_d, Apr 2023
Fun experience to do but the place was too full. Had to go to another rental place to experience Hanbok wearing. We threw away our money or else spent hours waiting in line.
A Walk through the palace on a spring day!
Jane_F, Mar 2023
It's absolutely necessary to be in hanbok to immerse with the Korean culture when you visit the palaces. I felt more like a local walking in history! My friend and I had a great time.
So much fun. The only...

So much fun. The only thing is it needs to cleaning on the rentals because you could see the dirt. But the lady that help us helpful
Chaotic and Memorable!
Ayesha_K, Nov 2022
We booked the 4-hour theme experience for four adults (2 men and 2 women) and one 4yo and it was quite the experience! When we arrived at 9:30AM it was a bit chaotic as there were SO MANY people there. We later found out it was the end hanbok culture week so that may have contributed to the crowd situation. It seemed all the rental locations in the area were equally busy. We did have a bit trouble finding the location at first, and when we arrived and showed them the name of the Viator booking, the first person didn’t think we were at the correct location. For the price it is a great deal! You can get a quick hairstyle done for free, and there are a lot of hanbok dress options - but if you are above a B cup, then you might have a hard time finding a top that will fit (this also could have been due to the high volume of people and those may have been rented out before we got there). The adult hanbok section for pants/top sets was smaller vs the skirt/top section. The kids selection was small and we had a hard time finding my daughter something that fit as everything was either toddler sized or bigger kid sized. The staff upstairs was helpful in trying to find something that could work for her size but I think it still was a little small for her height. Perhaps options were also limited here because of the culture week and so many rentals for the day? They typically have a 30min limit to try on and select, but probably due to the volume of people looking and people in the fitting rooms, they maybe couldn’t control/enforce that, so from walking in to finally walking out dressed took us over an hour. Once we finally were out and able to head over to Gyeongbokgung, we were happy with how our outfits turned out! We really enjoyed being able to walk around and take photos in our beautiful hanboks at our leisure since we still had a good amount of time remaining in our rental. I would definitely recommend including this as a part of your trip if you’re visiting Seoul, and also recommend checking first to see if the timeframe you’re going will overlap with a holiday haha so you can brace yourself for it to be busy or not. We will stop by again next visit, hopefully during a less busy time!
A Must Do!
ChyeChoo_N, Nov 2019
There’s something about visiting their oldest palace site (yes the buildings are replicas) in a Hanbok. Wonderful experience for the family and there are muted colours for the teens and extra large sizing for the Man of the House too so everyone is happy. Along the same street there are a number of other hanbok rental places but this is the largest and possibly has the most extensive range. The experience was marred by Long queues even though we were relatively early... there is one general queue to which we returned 3 times: 1. to establish that we had the viator coupon, and exchange it for a little stub advising the number and type of costume, 2. after changing and simple hairdo (part of the theme package) to “check out” and be given a wristlet with the return time; 3. Finally to return costumes and locker keys Would be better for 3 different queues that could be fluid when one is relatively shorter, especially when there’s only one cash register 🙄 Not complaining as we were v excited so the wait was bearable.... but I can’t imagine id someone had difficulty standing ... how the wait could be excruciating for him/her.
Tunnelmaa tuova kokemus palatsivierailulle

Paljon erilaisia hameita sovitettavaksi. Oli kiva kun hiuksetkin laitettiin. Vuokraamo on aivan palatsin vieressä.
