      This was a great experience. The vibrant busy food market with its range of foods was amazing. Jacob, our guide, was terrific. Well organised, knowledgeable and lots of fun. This food tour was a highlight of my trip to Korea!

      A great way to be introduced to Market food and the vibe of the street. While trying food, you're also being educated about the food and etiquette. Haeji's positive attitude and personality made the experience fun for everyone.

      Awesome experience! Our guide was excellent and provided history and cultural insights for the market and foods we ate. Especially appreciated the cultural traditions and background on alcohol consumption in Korea. All of the food was tasty and interesting. And the guide presented the information in a fun and energetic way.

      Gwanjang Night Market Foodie Tour Rocks!

      This is one of the best tours I've done while traveling. Hae Ji was a hoot, introducing us to Korea's most beloved foods at the Gwangjang Night Market: Kimbap, Tteokbokki, ban-chan, fermented octopus, rice grain sized crab, pickled garlic, a veggie that looked like a silkworm, kimchi and pork dumplings, hand-cut noodles, Korean pancakes, makgeoli rice wine, beef tartar, live octopus (still squirming when served), soju beer and twisted donuts. I ate stuff I would have never tried at home. Come hungry because you will sample so many interesting foods and leave satiated! We even learned about Korean drinking culture. Jjan (cheers!) Highly recommend.

      We had a lot of fun trying new (to us) foods and getting to know the rest of our group. Our guide Jacob was great at getting us to mingle with each other and the people who made our food. Thank you for introducing us to the Korean night market life.

      The tour was a highlight of our brief time in Seoul and a fantastic way to get comfortable navigating an open air market. HaeJi was our guide. She was the perfect person to lead us through the market. My husband and 10 year old daughter came with me. The rest of my group were adults. HaeJi went out of her way to make my kid feel included, even as the adults were learning about drinking culture. HaeJi is a pro, through and through. Bring your open minds, adventuresome palates, and good natured sense of humor for a fun time. Even though I was familiar with the food and the culture, I still learned a lot.

      HJ was a great guide. She was informative, organized and very entertaining. We had limited days in Seoul and wanted to experience food here. This was a perfect way to start that and to give us variety and fun packed into a couple of hours in an amazing market.

      Our guide Jacob was excellent. He showed us pretty much everything that a tourist must see in the market. Food tasting was fun. Alcoholic and non alcoholic becerage tasting was enjoyable. He introduced us to Korean drinking games wich were unusual and enjoyable.

      The food variety was excellent and the guide, HaeJi Lee is expert and hilarious. She made the whole food tour memorable. She also explained Korea’s food culture and tradition so well that some terms are still in my head.

      My golf gal friend went for this tour and we had such a fun time. We did a number of tastings all really really good! I’m giving five stars also because of our guide. She made the experience so much better with her humor her talking and explaining! I had fun because she was also there enjoying being there and being there with us. You’ll have to go for one with Haeji to understand what I’m talking about. I give her five stars!

      Our guide Har Ji was excellent. She was fun and had great knowledge of the people, history, and food in the market. She is a genuine person who wants to share the a tiny peek into the culture of South Korea. Our group had a variety of people from singles, couples, to a family with pre-teenagers, and she was able to adjust the tour so that everyone had fun. My family had a blast. This tour is a great intro if you first get to South Korea and you want a good place to start.

      Jacob our tour guide had infectiously positive energy, loves his country, loves good food, and loves to share the good food of his country on the tour. We had delicious food, played fun drinking games that he taught us and had an overall great time. He seems quite modest about his tour - but one element of it, where we skipped a 2 hour line for a special food, was worth the price of the tour itself! Hahaha.

      The tour was excellent. We tried so many tasty items in the first walking part and enjoyed two restaurants seating with lot of food. The drinking games and drinking culture explained was a great bonus 🙏🥰😀
