Overview

Make the popular winter sports resort of Jisan Forest your destination on this seasonal day trip from Seoul, which includes round-trip hotel transport, a guide and a pair of gloves to use. Blast down the ski slopes on your own or upgrade for a beginner’s lesson that includes gear rental: skis, boots, and poles. (Lift ticket is purchased at own expense, unless you have selected the option) You’ll have hours to ski to your heart's content on prime powder — just one reason South Korea was appointed to host the 2018 Winter Olympics. Please note: This seasonal tour runs annually between December and March. The dates are subject to change.

  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

My friend and I were absolute beginners but our tour guide Hugo was excellent at teaching us and made us feel reassured before heading out by ourselves. He helped us navigate obtaining all our equipment and even filled the car ride beforehand with insight into Korean history and recommendations about where to visit and eat. Got some magical photos with my friend at the Jisan Forest Resort, too.

My friend and I were absolute beginners but our tour guide Hugo was excellent at teaching us and made us feel reassured before heading out by ourselves. He helped us navigate obtaining all our equipment and even filled the car ride beforehand with insight into Korean history and recommendations about where to visit and eat. Got some magical photos with my friend at the Jisan Forest Resort, too.

The view was amazing. If you ski, it will be best. If you don't (like me) or can't because of leg injury/health, then it could be a little limited in terms of what you can do at that area for 3+ hours, as there are limited places for cafe hopping or for spa/massage.
